Nice painting set
Our granddaughter is really into horses right now and loves craft activities. This was the perfect gift for her recent birthday. She will enjoy painting the horses and displaying them in her room. Reasonably priced.

Fun craft for your kids
This is a review for Melissa & Doug Decorate-Your-Own Horse Figurines Craft Kit: 2 Horses to Paint. Years ago, I remembered painting little clay-like animal figurines my dentist would give out. It was so much fun! When I saw this on Amazon, I wanted to share that experience with my daughter. So, I ordered it. The price was right, and there were two (just in case my son wanted to try painting one). It was a hit with the kids! Both sat down right away to paint. These figurines have a lot more detail than the ones I had a long time ago. They also are quite sturdy, and now that they are painted, they look great. Not realistic in terms of colors, but great (that is not the kit's fault, my son is six and thought blue paint should be included...). This kit is a fun little craft for your kids. I will surely buy another, likely a different animal, from Melissa & Doug. That company seems to have high quality toys and crafts (we've been buying them for years and they always seem high quality).

Cheap and easy craft for my 4 yo
I bought this for an easy craft project to entertain my four-year-old while we’re stuck at home during the pandemic. The kit only comes with one paintbrush, so this is best for a single child. You might want to purchase extra paint brushes if you have two children. Extra kits if you have more than two children. Four stars only because one of the dinosaurs’ tails broke as we were pulling it out of the package, but other than that, I’m happy with the purchase and I would buy it again

Great little gift
Package arrived nicely, and in perfect shape to give as a gift for my 6 year old cousin. I cut the tape on the bottom, and wanted to examine the paint before giving it as a gift. I wanted to make sure it wasn’t dried up as in some of the reviews. The paint was packaged in a clear wrap and I removed that and opened each cup. The paint is fine :) I also took a picture with my adult hand for size reference. I did expect them to be slightly larger, but they are still worth the very reasonable price so I will not take off any stars for that. To a 6 year old, it’s probably around the right size. I will say I did notice the horses had a little scuffing on them but I’m not sure if that came through on the picture. It’s not really a scratch- more of a scuff. I will not take off stars, because that doesn’t really matter either if it’s going to be painted over. I will say, I’m not sure if I would buy this for older kids (say 11+ in age) just because the horses look slightly cartoony as you can see in the picture. All in all, I am happy and it will make a great gift, and it was a great price.

Great Party Activity!
We hosted a dinosaur themed party and bought a box for each child. It was a great activity that boys and girls (ages 6-10) all enjoyed and they got to show off their unique design skills. It also doubled as the party favor since they took their creations home...after getting some great snapshots for the scrapbook!

Recipient is loving her figurines!
Amazon instructions suggest I mention “giftable, thickness, and sheerness”. This craft set is definitely giftable. The 8 year old female recipient loves horses so she was thrilled to receive it, and she painted it right away. She had a lot of fun painting and displaying her figurines! Sheerness does not describe the figurines, which is a good thing. They are white, not sheer prior to painting. Thickness is as expected for little figurines. They are cute and she loves them! I would recommend this craft set for young children.

Fun crafts !!
As a mother of four children I often gravitate towards the brand Melissa and Doug crafts. I am often very pleased with their quality.My daughter also enjoyed it her pets turned out great and cute.she also got another craft for Christmas she loved it was a weaving kit you would also enjoy it to that is why I highly recommend it.
