Adorable and incredibly huggable!
This stuffed sea turtle is a must-have for any animal lover. Its large size and realistic design make it a great decorative piece or a comforting cuddle buddy. The quality is excellent and it's built to last.

Biig Guy will make you smile!
This guy is adorable. Came in a box wrapped in a plastic bag. He is cuter than the photos show. I am very happy with it! His colors are more variegated than the photos show, making him look more realistic. He meets my expectations for size and quality. He's a keeper!

Wow, what a beautiful stuffed animal
I bought this for my fiancee after a trip to Hawaii in which we swam with sea turtles. It is really a beautiful product. It is large and well-made, with the body being roughly the size of a regular bed pillow, though round instead of rectangular. The fur is plush and soft, and feels really nice to stroke. The detail and colors used are really top-notch, with subtle and varying shades of green, brown, white and gray. Even the underside of the turtle is carefully patterned and colored to match nature. The animal is stuffed with a springy material, so it resists when you put pressure on it. You can definitely use it as a pillow, though it feels more like one of those firm foam pillows than soft down ones that you sink into. This may account for the first review who felt the toy was harder than expected. But you can definitely cuddle with this thing--way have! We love the product, it has brought us a lot of enjoyment.

Large cuddly turtle
It's large, soft, cute and adaptable depending on baby's age. One year olds can climb on it, caress it, rest against it... as they get bigger, it can be a proper TV pillow to sit on while they watch their favorite program. Super cute.

My 3 years old daughter is obsessed with turtles and this one is colorful, great quality, and big!!! She is dragging the turtle everywhere. It is the best present I ever bought!

Quality is just okay
Perfect to snuggle with and the size is as advertised. I’m a bit disappointed with the pricing because he came with one small incomplete seam / hole in his neck area. But overall he’s very snuggly and I love him a lot :)

Very cool, large turtle
I am not a huge fan of all things Melissa & Doug, as some people are, because many of their wood puzzles are lacking in quality of craftsmanship, but this turtle is terrific! It's really big, very realistic in appearance, and fairly soft. I read one review complaining about the lack of softness. This is not like having an Angel Dear lovey or blanket, but it's totally comfortable for resting your head. My husband does so all the time. My son was thrilled to receive this turtle and has consistently used it for about 1 1/2 years now. We keep it on the floor beside his bed and it has cushioned a couple of falls very nicely! Considering the size of the animal, the price is excellent. I paid $25-$30 for it. I often pass up buying large stuffed animals like this one because they cost $50 plus dollars. This is a great buy, well worth the money.

Great purchase
I read some of the comments on here about it not being cuddly or being made of cheap felt. Well let me say that my experience and thoughts on the product are the complete opposite. My step daughter loves this guy and has been her ultimate cuddle buddy ever since. Is he super soft and squishy for a baby ot toddler probably not, but is great for a little older child. In addition let me say how life like it looks and it's coloring is beautiful.

A Sea Turtle Of My Very Own
I think Melissa & Doug make great plush products, and I love the extra-large lifelike ones best. This sea turtle definitely has a personality to it, it's large, soft and just really cool. I think the colours in real life are a bit brighter than in the advertised picture but that's not a complaint. If you're a fan of turtles, or going for an ocean theme, this would be great for anyone, though especially kids I think. It's more realistic than the cartoon-y turtle options you often see.

A very good stuffed turtle
I looked at several, and ordered one other one that was terrible. This is actually a very high quality, good sized stuffed turtle. Hard to imagine a better one. If you are short of stuffed turtles, this is the one you want.

Beautiful!!
Absolutely beautiful. The details were bright and sharp. The eyes are on the more realistic side as well, which is kind of cool. And the size is perfect. Bigger than I thought it would be!
