Fun for my grand daughter.
Very well made. The battery /control switch is a little tight . Make sure the Velcro is out of the way.

Son (and parents) love it!
such a lovely toy for a baby - the music tones are lovely and as a parent I'm not at all annoyed or bothered by it. In fact it's really tonal, not at all tinny or nerve grinding. Baby loves it and does a little dance to the tunes.

Does not work well
I was excited for this cute little drum. I always order early for birthday presents so I can make sure they are as advertised but wasn't too concerned with this as Melissa and Doug is normally good quality. The screw on the battery compartment was stripped and would not come out. After an hour of struggling with it a piece snapped off. I then managed to get the batteries inserted. It will play for a few seconds then I have to turn it off and back on for a few more seconds of music. Getting the battery compartment out is difficult. Terrible dud. Don't recommend. And past the return date ????

Baby Bongos
The media could not be loaded. I’m very disappointed in how this item was shipped. The weight is kinda heavy for a baby but it helps stabilize it. The colors are bright which is nice for babies. The sound only comes from one side of the drum so when you hit the opposite drum sometimes it doesn’t make the drum sound. The size compared to my son reaches his belly button. And only one drum fits between his legs. So I put the noisy one towards him. He loves to hear the drum make noise so I kept it for him. I don’t think it was worth the price since only one side of the two drums makes all the noise.

Great toddler toy!
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this for my 11 month old granddaughter. She loved it! Her parents are very cautious about everything she comes in contact with,( first child), and they love it! Win, win. My daughter says to top is pillowy soft and it has a pleasant sound to it. I highly recommend this as a gift for a baby that is old enough to slap something and for its parents.

Soft sounds
Love this. It's soft enough that baby doesn't get hurt. When you tap it actually makes a sound which i think is amazing. Great product all around
