Amazing quality toy food
The media could not be loaded. This is the highest quality plastic toy food that I have ever seen! My son took the little chicken and salmon and started chewing it because he genuinely thought it was food. They are heavier than all the other plastic foods I have ever seen, which makes it great for play time and it makes it so much more durable. I think these would be a great gift for any child who has a play kitchen or loves using play food, it’s genuinely amazing

Realistic and cute
My grand daughters were so happy to see all this food for their kitchen! They are well made and will be very durable. There is a nice variety of food, the kids love playing with it already.

Worth it!
At first I baulked at spending a little more money on play food when there are so many here on Amazon that are cheaper. I was wrong for that! When the cheaper set came in and the foods were indistinguishable and teeny tiny, I knew I should've sprung for Melissa and Doug in the first place. Each piece is a safe size and well constructed. They look as realistic as you'd hope play food would. We have the Melissa and Doug kitchen accessories and all of these food items fit into that pot and pan for easy cooking :)

Very sturdy play food set.
Great quality play food. It's more sturdy than another set I purchased. It's not going to warp if you accidently step on it. I love Melissa and Doug products as they always seem to hold up well!

Imagination at it's yummiest
You always want to give the most fun, life-like, age-appropriate ways to learn and spend your time. The foods are meals the kids see their family cook. They smelled, tasted, saw smiles, and heard conversations that's something worth imitating. I'm working on a cookbook with pictures of the play food so kids can get the most out of their time. Like planning meals, making a grocery list, grocery shopping, using money, inviting friends, etc, this is a rough draft.

Buy this!
This play food is AMAZING! I did all kinds of research on the best play food on the market, and everyone pretty much agreed that the Learning Resources brand food, and the Melissa and Doug wooden food were the best options. I love Melissa and Doug but I knew I didn't want wooden food because it's not very detailed. I found this set and decided to try it out, along with a few Learning Resources brand food. This set is far superior. It's a larger size but still small enough to fit in all the pans, bowls and plates. It has great detail so every item was easily recognizable for my 3 year old. Most importantly, it's quality is AMAZING. There is almost no give at all when you squeeze the food. It is extremely sturdy plastic. I imagine this food will hold up very well over time. I absolutely recommend this set.

BEST PLAY FOOD EVER MADE!!!
Finally someone has done it right! We have had 12 children and bought every quality play food out there within the last 20 years, and this is by far the best so far! This play food is very realistic harder plastic, perfect size, and the paint doesn't come off either. We were loving the new sprouts play food, but with toddlers they tend to chew on that brand because it's rubbery like teething toys and the paint comes off and items get ruined with missing paint and chew marks. We have had these for over 3 months now with continual daily play from my 5 little kids and 1 grandchild and they still look brand new! We can't wait for Melissa and Doug to come out with other sets like breakfast and lunch sets, along with pizza, taco's, real meat burgers, different cookies and goodies etc. We have both of these new dinner sets and the fill em up bowl sets also.

Excellent quality.
I grew up with fisher price kitchen play food in the 1980-1990s and loved them, so wanted to replicate what I had for our children. This is pretty close to the quality I remember. Very durable plastic, more realistic compared to some other brands and our 16 month old is playing with them just fine. Other play food brands are sometimes 'miniaturized' versions of food items....that is not what I wanted. This set is pretty close to actual food size. Our five year old is reading the menu (learned a new word 'segmented orange' today) as we go through the items to order. It is pricey for a set of play food but I remember that in the 1980s-1990s, fisher price play food was also just as pricey because my parents commented on how the sets were expensive too. I will be keeping this set for life to have toys around when people with young kids visit. My parents kept my play food sets and our kids play with them when they visit. These will last a lifetime.

Está súper realista cada pieza de tamaño Perfecto para sus manos y trastes no son tan suavecitos como los de LR pero igualmente son de excelente calidad valen muchísimo la pena aunque estén un poco caros no me arrepiento nada

Great quality play food.
Great quality play food. My daughter and her cousins loves making us meals with this food. I just find the price pretty high for the number of food items that come in this set.
