THIS IS US
While these are not the most glamorous, Kardashian type family around... these are, by far, the best dolls that I have found for my 4 yr olds new doll house. Why is it so hard to find good dolls for these things?! This is an every day, working class, American family. They are kinda crazy to look at, Grandpa and Dad could use a hairbrush... Mom literally has a baby stuck to her all the time. Brother looks like he's been electrocuted and sister has a crazed look in her wooden eye. They are easy to manipulate and could use some clothes from this decade, but... they look happy together.... Now that i'm typing this...They are MY FAMILY actually. Nice. Thanks for making a perfect replica of my family! It's no wonder my daughter can soo easily play house... This is Us!

Well loved!
These little wooden dolls are well loved by 6 kids ages 2-12. They have been chewed on and lost their hair and eyes wearing off so I pulled out my glue gun and added some new hair and darkened the eyes with a paint marker. They are otherwise durable and are surviving lots of abuse. They fit perfectly in little hands and a great price for how much love they are getting! I will be buying more this Christmas!

Wood construction with pliable metal inserts to move limbs
The family looks super cute. We're ethnically "Euro-Asians" and personally, this family comes closest to looking like us (except the blonde girl). It's good quality and fits my 2.5 year old's hands nicely. The head, hands, and feet are wood construction, while the rest of the body is pliable metal and covered with an interwoven thread. Because of its pliability, the arms and legs are adjustable. Another reviewer complained that the metal was showing though the thread after being played with. I imagine that this is likely to happen if it's roughly handled and bent extraordinarily in a back-and-forth motion; I will say that it won't bend easily like Play-Doh because there's some resistance. Nevertheless, I would recommend to check once in a while to make sure that the metal is still intact. This set contains 7 characters, so there's a lot of play option! Enjoy :)

Cute dolls - small
Very cute accessories to go with the dollhouse. These are very small. Parents let this be a warning to you to make sure your small children do not get these near them.

Great Quality Dolls
Very sturdy yet movable dolls. They fit perfectly in our daughters dollhouse, I love that they have movable arms and legs but are not plastic. Well made, have had for about a month with three young children playing with them and they look brand new still.

I bought this doll family to add to a firehouse/police house (aka "boy" dollhouses) for my son for Christmas. After a year of use, these have stayed in good rotation. They are good quality, as most M&D products are. The heads are wooden and the bodies are bendable/posable. They are easier to bend than the rubber figures that came with the firehouse, which have wires in them but are too stiff to really pose. The clothes are simple but sewn well. The dolls do stand on their own... sometimes. For use in the dollhouse, however, they are mostly sitting or standing. Nothing has faded, ripped, or broken after a year of play, so I would definitely but the set again. The little baby in yellow is especially a hit around here and is always getting into trouble!

Great little dolls to go with the Melissa & Doug house.
Perfect little people to go with the Melissa & Doug house we also got. Very basic, but easy to play with, and each one was allocated to be someone in the family. We also got the Melissa & Doug car that came with extra people also. The people are 2 or 3 years old now, and only recently started becoming a bit worse for wear.
