Fun, clean painting for children
My 4-year-old loves Paint by water! All you need is a small bowl of water. A brush is included with the book, and the paints are stuck to each page. They’re little square boxes of dry paint on each page, so all your child does is dip the brush in water, then in the paint, then the page. Paints are washable and don’t run all over the place making a huge mess like most other children’s paints. It’s a fun, easy, clean way for children to enjoy painting and being creative. The ocean drawings in this book are very cute. I recommend this for children 3-10.

Great for 2.5 year old
Love this concept and these painting pages work really well for my 2.5 year old. It's nice she can "paint" without me having to get out all the paints, dropcloth...etc, etc. The quality of the paints is not very good, so if you are particular about how the colors come out I would'nt buy this. I'm very happy with it because of it's ease of getting out and clean up.

Easy and fun - perforations aren’t great
My 3 year old loves these. Easy to set up and pretty low-mess. My only complaint is that the perforations are weak and it is easy to tear the paper through the paint.

Fun, convenient, and the kids love them
You only need water! My granddaughters love these books. What’s nice about these is the colors are on the drawing, not on a “palette” at the top of the page. And the girls like that better too, it’s like magic to them. The pages are thicker so they don’t get rippled up too much from the water. I don’t see using them during car travel, but on a plane ride they’d be great. I wish there were more pages, though. They go through one of these books in an hour!

Perfect painting for little ones
My kids love to paint! I have a 5, 3 and 1-year-old So it's not always easy to decide to let them ????. These are the perfect solution. Just giving them a small amount of water and a paint brush and they can make beautiful works! Easy clean up everyone's happy! Will always continue to buy more till they stop asking.

Just ok
I had kids aged 10, 8, and 3 painting away with these pages while we were stuck indoors on a rainy day while on vacation. It did keep them all occupied and it was easy enough to pack, however, the two older kiddos were both frustrated because the color gets used up quickly. They wanted the colors to be bold like you see in the paint palette, but even when using liberal amounts of water it was a stretch to get the whole page colored with the paints provided per page and obviously the color was very diluted. Given this is underwater scenes, the blue gets used up immediately so that was a particular source of frustration for the 8 year old because she wanted the water to all be blue. Definitely skip if you have color-particular kiddos. The magic paint books with the color hidden in the lines were enjoyed more than this one.

Easy way for kids to paint

Great for my 2 year old, loved not having to pull out the whole paint set, just pull out one page, a brush and a cup of water and she had a blast. Easy clean up and great product quality. Well done Melissa and Doug. ????
