Replacement Discs ARE Available!!!
I don't typically write reviews, but I just wanted to let everyone out there who might be interested in purchasing this toy know that it is VERY fun and my 5 year old boy/girl twins LOVE it! I purchased it for my son last Christmas. The only downfall is that the discs are very easy to loose. It came with 10 discs and we only have 3 left....that doesn't make for very much "rapid fire fun" so it doesn't get played with very often anymore. My son asked for replacement discs THIS Christmas and I have been searching high and low. Everything on the Internet will lead you to believe the discs are not available. However, if you call 800-524-8697 they will take your order. They are $2 for a pack of 10 plus shipping. Enjoy!!!!

Pas mal..
Livraison super rapide et achat satisfaisant pour un petit garçon. Beaucoup de bruit au son de mitrailleuses avec disques de projection mais il en faudrait un peu plus et pouvoir en acheter à côté car cela décembre perd vite...

Good Fun, Good Shooter
This toy is a lot of fun. It has cool green lights and a good machine gun "rapid-fire" type sound. When the trigger is pulled, the gun's rotating chamber lights up, spins, and shoots out a disc. The sound and light feature can be turned off using the switch on the bottom of the gun. The switch also has a demo mode setting which limits the "rapid-fire" machine gun sound. The gun can hold up to ten discs. As everyone has stated, no matter how hard you try, those darn green translucent discs find a way of disappearing into oblivion. The discs can easily travel 25+ ft with a good punch. It is fun to setup cardboard targets and try to shoot them down.

Good fun, but don't loose the disks!
My son received this for Christmas and he loves shooting us and his brothers with this toy (The disks do not hurt when they hit you). The disks are propelled by a mechanical trigger which requires some good hand strength for pulling (my 6 year old struggled with it for the first couple of days until he got used to this). The bigger concern are the disks, make sure you keep track of them because there are a very limited number and I have not seen replacement for sale anywhere (I admitingly have not looked too hard as I have tried to keep track of them). So if you are looking for a fun and different shooting toy, or your child likes green lantern I would consider purchasing while keeping these two issues in mind.
