Great for RPG cosplay and generalized fun
A fun item for cosplay and letting your children go ham where they beat up their siblings without causing any harm. My son definitely enjoyed getting dressed up and running around going grrrrr Little bit flimsy but it's meant to be but overall I am satisfied with the product definitely worth the money.

Why Foam Beats Plastic in the Playfight Arena
Upgrading from plastic to foam weapons was one of our better calls. The plastic ones had started to feel more like overpriced risks than real fun - flimsy, unrealistic, and somewhat outdated. I'd always check the edges first, sanding down anything suspicious. I know, I'd make a terrible soldier - blunting my own weapons before battle - but that's Dad's Army for you. Plus, perhaps it's my own survival instinct, because I do get the sense my son doesn't hold back quite as much as I do. This foam axe, though, is in a different league. It's cleverly designed, with a fibreglass core that gives it real balance and weight - enough to make swinging it around feel satisfying, but not dangerous. It's clearly made with imaginative play in mind, and hits the sweet spot between safe and properly epic. It's got a nice heft to it without being heavy, which makes it feel just that bit more real, even when you're just having a muckabout in the garden or kitchen. It's recommended for age 12+, but it's definitely fun for grown-ups, too - whether you're suiting up for Halloween, a bit of light LARPing, or simply settling scores with a family member who ate the last biscuit. The safety is spot on - no sharp edges, nothing lurking to catch fingers. That's one of the things I appreciate most: you get all the drama, none of the danger. Now, the one thing I'd mark it down slightly on is the paint job. It's decent, but not quite as convincing as the overall design suggests. For £21.99, I think that's fair to mention - though given the quality of the build, the sheer play value, and the fact it's held up well so far, I'd still say it earns its keep. All in all, a solid upgrade from the usual plastic fare. Safe, sturdy, and just the right amount of theatrical. Highly recommended for anyone ready to lead their own low-stakes, high-fun household skirmish.

Decent quality foam hammer/pick prop
No se ha podido cargar el contenido multimedia. This is very similar to most foam props of its kind. There's a noticeable mould line down the middle, and the painting's a bit rough and ready in some parts, but neither of those are much of a concern. From what I can tell it feels like it would be fine to use in LARPs, as the foam for the head of the hammer/pick is quite bendable and doesn't hurt when it strikes, although obviously avoid use near the face. It's very light (only 77g) but feels comfortable in the hand and would go well as a costume piece for a miner or some other sort of worker.

Realistic costume hammer
This foam hammer absolutely nails the visual side of things — unless you’re up close or holding it, you could mistake it for a real medieval-style weapon. That makes it a strong pick for stage use where first impressions count. It’s lightweight and safe enough for mock battles or theatrical reenactments, thanks to the fibreglass core and PU foam body. Definitely more convincing from a visual standpoint than you'd expect at first glance. Up close, some of the paintwork and seams give away the fact it’s a prop, but it still feels like a step above many standard costume accessories.

All the Rage, None of the Bruising!
Finally, a hammer that lets me live out my inner Viking without sending friends to the ER. These PU foam hammers are everything I never knew I needed—lightweight, durable, and intimidating enough to make my cat rethink her attitude. Perfect for Halloween, cosplay, Renaissance fairs, or just asserting dominance at family BBQs (the meat is ready when I say it’s ready). The foam is surprisingly sturdy, which means you can dramatically reenact medieval battles without risking a lawsuit or a bruised ego. They look convincing from a distance and are safe enough for kids, adults, and that one friend who always takes LARPing a bit too seriously. Plus, they bounce a little when you toss them, which adds unintentional comedy gold to every “battle.” Whether you're a noble Norse warrior or just a dad trying to spice up costume day at school, these hammers strike the perfect balance between badass and totally harmless. Five stars. Would pillage again (gently).
