This review is for the Btofellin Halloween Hooded Cloak Long Velvet Cape Cosplay Costume Unisex Adult Vampire Witch Wizard Robe in black. This arrives in a cellophane wrapper without branding. On unfolding it fits me well as a size 22-24 and the hood is generous. The fabric has a velvet like look, and though it is soft, however, it is very, very thin. It is extremely lightweight and flimsy and the edges are unfinished. This might last one or two halloween parties but I would not be confident it would have much more longevity. As such, I feel that the current £18.99 is extremely ambitious for this item.

A bit disappointing, really.
This hooded cloak by Btofellin, certainly looks the part in photos, but unfortunately, falls well short in the flesh. The velvet-like material is thin, and semi-transparent. More costume shop than cosplay quality. Loose threads were hanging from several seams and needed trimming before use. It’s not well finished, and the fabric doesn’t feel durable. However, the biggest issue in my opinion, is the sizing: it’s extremely narrow, not even enough material to wrap around an average adult, and far too long for a child without it dragging in the mud. It might work for a static Halloween display of a skeleton, or an extremely skinny person standing still, but for actual wear, it’s impractical, and quite disappointing overall. Two stars.
