Cute wood tea set.
Bought this for my granddaughter. This is the cutest tea set! I love the accessories…the teabags, the honey, etc. And I love that it is made out of wood so it is much more durable.

Came Damaged
This was clearly returned and resold to me, as it is missing the piece that is broken off. The item was poorly packaged it's no wonder it was damaged. Everything was flying around loosely. Such a shame it is a darling little set.

Keep looking, quality not worth the price
Normally we love Manhattan Toy Company products, but this one is terrible quality. The first set I ordered was chipped the paint job was sloppy, so I ordered a replacement hoping it was just a bad set. The second one had just as many issues. I got it when it was on sale will be sending it back because it's just not worth the price, definitely not worth the full price. It feels cheap and like it was made in a rush. Definitely nicer sets available at a better price from other brands.

Everything I hoped it would be
I took a chance and ordered this even though it only had one not great review, and I’m so glad I did. I’m not sure what’s not to like about this set (except that you can’t put liquid in it). I got it as a Christmas gift so I cannot attest to its longevity, but I did open the box up and inspect all the pieces. Everything was perfect and so so cute! It feels like a quality toy too.

It's so adorable and the art and quality are great
I also took a chance on this because there was one negative review and one positive one. I opened this up to make sure it was okay before keeping it for a Christmas present for my daughter. It was everything I hoped it would be. I love the detail for the little herbal tea box and how the lemon wedges perfectly fit in the sides of the wooden teacups. The art is so precious and the colors are lovely and neutral. I would have freaked out with great joy as a little girl opening this up! I was overjoyed as an adult opening this up! I'm very excited to give this to my daughter and be served many cups of tea with honey. The one thing that puzzled me though is that the teapot and creamer aren't wooden, yet the set advertises the pieces as all wooden. The handle, spout and lid to the teapot are wooden as well as the handle for the creamer, but the pot and creamer are heavier than wood and feel more like pottery or coated metal or something. Very strange. But all other pieces in the set are wooden. I was a wee upset about the 2 non wooden items, but this wasn't enough for me to give a bad review. It is hands down the most creative and beautiful kids tea set I've ever seen. I'd recommend it! But I wanted to mention the non wooden items in case that would really bug someone who was going pure Montessori and hoping for100% wood as advertised.
