Way Nicer IRL than photos show!
8-year-old loves this! This set is much higher quality than the photos show. I'm a product photographer myself, so I can tell you -- when they photographed this set, they used (a currently trendy) harsher lighting that reflected too much, eliminated all the shadows, and thus doesn't show off the full depth and color of the artwork on the house or the texture and quality of the velvet cape or the beautifully soft and thick mustard sweater. The photo makes the cape look polyester and lightweight and a bright red, because velvet is notoriously reflective. But the cape is actually rich and lovely and heavy-feeling, a deep cherry red, pretty, and thick. The mustard sweater feels hand-made and soft and is less stiff than the photos show. The little overalls are also thicker and softer and nicer than the photo makes them look (who let the seams show?! Manhattan Toy, can I please come help you with your product photography?). The texture & quality of all the fabrics are motivating for little fingers to learn how to tie and dress and other fine motor skills. The little hangers are a nice, heavy metal. Everything about the little house is so well-done: the sturdy hardware, the cardboard is thick enough to hold up and fit together so very well that is makes an air whoosh when you close it together fast! Best part of the house is the art on the inside and out! Cute tiny details on the windows, and a cozy, cool little pretend interior make a special scene that's modern and cool while being timeless and charming. The photos make the exterior look a bit more pastel than it really is, but the colorway is on trend and looks great just sitting around your house. My child loves to open it up and add a pretend bed out of blocks or a shoebox, accessorize with little rugs made out of our scrap fabrics that coordinate with the house, add a tiny toy lantern to make it cozy, little flags...she loves to decorate. The drawer is nice and thick and fits perfectly and is so satisfying to draw out & in. She named the bunny Cordelia, and Cordelia has many similar-sized friends at our house! They often come visit Cordelia at her "house." The little clothes fit your regular 12-in babydoll, or are glamorously oversized on a Barbie. 10/10 on this amazing set. Want to be the cool aunt or uncle? Definitely gift this for any kid around age 4-8 who appreciates details and snuggly things. This is also a great thing to bring when travelling, since they can use the case as a suitcase for all toys. Because both sides of the house are the same depth, they can lay it flat in the backseat of the car as well. It's the perfect size to layout in the middle seat between 2 kids! The outside of the house is a satin-matte texture, so you can wipe it, but it's not shiny and won't crinkle.

Deer doll set
This little set is so sweet. It's well made and a good size. The colors are very nice. And, the "house" is precious. I don't think it would stand up to toddler play without supervision but for an older child it would be a pleasant change from 18 inch dolls.

The cutest little stuffed deer with lovely outfits
While I think the cardboard case this comes in is only okay, and the closet rod was loose and needed to be glued, the little stuffed deer is so adorable and the outfits so lovely I'm still giving 5 stars. I bought this as a gift for a 3 year old and she loves the deer so much she takes it everywhere with her and sleeps with it at night. It's the perfect size for her. She's too young to worry about dressing the deer up in the outfits, but she might like that when she gets older. I like it so much I got another for my own small toy collection. I like to have a few things around the house in case of small visitors, and I still like certain toys even though I'm long past childhood.

Love this little closet for my daughter! Such a cute set-the clothes are great quality and she loves playing with it.
