Scooping up Fun: Pretend Play Ice Cream Kit
I recently got the this icecream kit for my 4.5-year-old son, who absolutely adores imaginative play and has a special fascination with ice cream. So much fun
I bought this as a birthday gift for my kid and he can’t stop. We play role-play all the time and it’s so much fun asking for multiple flavors. He also seems to be learning fine motor skills. The product is high quality and great value for price packaging was amazing too made for a really fun game.

If I could give this more than 5 stars, I would! What a fantastic set and equally wonderful price point. My two boys (6 yrs/2 yrs) have been playing with this since it came. The pieces are a really thick durable plastic and great size so no worries with the two year old in mouthing anything. The book set opens as the shop with pop ups to put the cones in and favors to view as the "customer" on the other side. The toppings come off and are interchangeable with the flavored ice cream. The booklet also then closes and has reserved spots for most of the pieces when done playing. It's quite lovely. The scooper we haven't quite gotten down yet to release the scoops, but very small qualm. Our family has had a blast with this set and it has spurred creativity with the fabrication of a cash register. I love how it has expanded our imaginative play. Bravo!

Cute and entertaining; ok quality
This set is cute and entertaining for a bit, but it has some limitations. The quality is ok - not great, not bad. 1. All pieces are lightweight plastic rather than solid. The quality of the items seems just ok. The ice cream scoop has gotten stuck a few times when we try to release the ice cream. 2. The sprinkles/topping pieces were hard to get off, and then don't stick on well once put back. 3. There are 3 scoops of ice cream, 3 toppings/sprinkles, but only 2 comes. Granted, I know the scoops stack but it doesn't seem too logical to me. 4. Since the book has 3 holes on the front to store the scoops, it would be nice to have elastic or something to attach the scooper and cones. We all know kids toys with multiple pieces are just not so great - with 3 little boys, I don't always keep track of all the pieces. However, I don't count this against the toy; it would just be a nice addition.

Fun for small kids
I got this for my 2 and a half year old and 6 year old nieces. It's a cute little playset with several plastic ice cream scoops, some plastic toppings, 2 plastic cones, a scooper that kind of latches on to the top of the ice cream and then releases it onto the cone, and recipe book / ice cream shop. The recipe book is appropriate for young ages because the kids just need to match the pattern shown in the book rather than read. The book and stand are made of durable board. All the pieces are large enough to not be swallowing hazards. I'd recommend it for any kid who loves ice cream (which is every kid, right? Who doesn't love ice cream!).
