Underrated brand, high quality and adorable!
My grandson loves this doll and horse set. He likes that the doll wears "real" clothes (unlike many dolls nowadays that are made with painted on clothing, especially with the limited boy doll options). It's very well made. He also likes that the doll can be made to stand on its own if it's balanced just right. This is a great gift option because a child can enjoy having just this set, but they'll still be happy to receive more Lori dolls and accessories in the future. (The pictures are from before we took the plastic off the horse's feet.)

Cute
I'm a little disappointed that the knees don't bend for better riding position, but as you bend their legs forward, they open enough to sit on the horse, they just look a little silly. My boy didn't care much about that, though.

My kids loved this doll so much that they started a collection.
I have 2 sons, ages 6 and 3, that love these dolls. They were so thrilled with our initial purchase of the horse and rider set that they have now started a Lori Doll collection.

1:9 scale doll and 1:12 scale horse
I am so happy that this line has boys. The dolls are like 1:3 scale dolls for Battat 1:3 scale dolls and make great dolls for 18-inch dolls. They are fun on their own too but sometimes it feels like their playsets are a bit small.

Kindgerechte Puppe mit qualitativ hochwertigen Accessoires
Lori-Puppen sind m.E. für Vorschulkinder am besten geeignet. Sie sind hübsch, sehen wie Kinder aus und kommen mit schöner Kleidung und Accessoires. Die Landon-Puppe ist keine Ausnahme. Sein Gesicht ist hübsch, er hat lockige Haare und Glasaugen. Die Kleidung lässt sich mit Klettverschlüssen auf- und zumachen und kann leicht aus- und angezogen werden. Das einzige, was mich an allen Lori-Puppen stört, ist der Körper. Die Puppen stellen eher Grundschulkinder dar, haben aber Babyproportionen und eine Beinstellung, die typisch für Kleinkinder mit Windeln ist... Dennoch habe ich hier fünf Sterne vergeben, weil für den günstigen Angebotspreis man eine qualitativ hochwertige Puppe bekommt. Insbesondere für Vorschulkinder sind diese Puppen ganz gut geeignet: sind robust und haben kindgerechte Gesichter. Zum Angebotspreis empfehle ich Lori-Puppen weiter.

Nice little boy
The media could not be loaded. No matter how much I try I can not seem to get him to sit on the horse right. His legs are spread too far apart which I find weird since he was designed to sit on the horse. And I do not understand the split in the back of his boots. Just another thing I find hard to comprehend. It's as if the boots were made without measuring first then split to fit? Like an after thought. Nonetheless, the rest is ok and the horse is beautifully designed. ???? Just waiting for his sister to arrive so they can ride together ❤️ lol. True to size and the material isn't bad. Love the color of his clothing and his fashionable style.
