PERFECT FOR MY O GAUGE TRACK LAYOUT
I have been using this bridge for my O gauge Lionel train layout. I have been impressed with how sturdy it is and feel very secure when my trains travel over the bridge. It also fits extremely well into the landscape and background rock formations. The blinking red light on the top of the bridge is an added feature helps the visual aspect and draws attention to the bridge. A little costly, but worth it.

Positives outweigh the negatives - recommended for purchase
Am pleased with the purchase although for the price I expected a bit more in terms of quality. The liberal use of plastic was surprising in that I own two of Lionel's exended truss bridges (30' - 682110) and expected similar quality - not so. Anyway . . . Assembly was quick although it would be very easy to break while "snapping" pieces into place. There was one area where I used modeler's plastic cement and it was for the four "slide in" pieces at the top between the large sides. They would not remain in place and kept sliding lower than intended - beyond the stops; the cement did the trick. I did not use the light assembly in that it seems to be more toy-like than what I prefer for my layout and also a rather cumbersome installation - not at all worth the time or effort. Also, I did not use the piers as my use for the bridge is table-top level across an open space of about 2 feet - no need for them; and by the way - they are "cheesy" in appearance.l A paint-job would be a "must." I like the look of the bridge; it is sturdy once-assembled and provides exactly what I wanted for my layout. It would have been "easy" to let my personal opinion influence the rating. I got what I paid for and there is nothing about the appearance or utility of this product to justify anything less than 5-stars. Recommended for purchase.

Yes its plastic but the base is solid metal and can take the weight and looks great in the layout
Easy to assemble, clear instructions, it can only fit one train but that's ok for the price. Looks amazing added to our christmas o scale / dept 56 / Lemax layout. It was easy to cover in mini LED lights though it did take away from the red light already on top. Overall veyr happy with it
