Great Lionel Track to Use on Your Layout.....But Expensive
Four stars because this track is so darn expensive forget using it in a large basement setup, unless you have enough money to buy your own Pullman car. But besides the price, it is excellent track to use. I've integrated into large layouts with the old style Lionel three rail track, and it is very smooth. Stays together well. I've tried to cut it to fit a free form design set up and didn't succeed too well. Old style Lionel track cuts with a hacksaw and you can make custom pieces. They make plenty of various size sections, crossovers, curves, etc., so you should be able to make some pretty interesting train layouts.
