Great Train Set! Has all its parts!
This set is easy to setup, the Silver Bells train looks awesome! Wish one of the songs it played was Silver Bells! Also, for people saying it's missing some track, look better in the box. The straight tracks come in a smaller box and the curves come in a longer box the width of the main box, so you could miss it.

Can’t be the price
Significantly cheaper here versus else where. Very easy to assemble and get running out of the box. My daughter absolutely loved it running around the tree.

This is not for me, but I had to get it because I know how great trains (other models I’ve seen) are from Lionel! I really liked ‘the Lionel Santa Fe Super Chief LionChief Set’, which is about three times more expensive than this one and is magnificent in every way. I have to say the overall quality of the Santa Fem in general was better than this model due to the price difference. While I hesitated due to the one being one-third of the price of what I really liked, my friend told me that her niece loves ‘the Lionel New York Central Ready-to-Play Set’, which is about the same price as this train set. So I went ahead and requested this one for the upcoming Christmas gift for my niece, who is four years old (soon to be 4.6, according to him, haha). In my experience, Lionel trains are absolutely wonderful in terms of quality and quite detailed in construction. I know the aforementioned Santa Fe train worked smoothly both forward and backward on the track with a strong motor. Obviously, the final verdict won't be in until after Christmas when my niece finally has a chance to play with it, but this model seems like wonderfully constructed with decent craftsmanship for the price. The material might not be the best, but again, for the price the overall quality is undoubtedly great. Obviously, the Lionel train models that cost three to four times more are better, but this is still a decent, charming holiday model, especially for the price. This will be a wonderful choice for anyone who wants to buy a decent quality train set, as a gift or to decorate for the holiday season, without breaking the bank. If you can afford it, however, I would recommend going through the many train models available from Lionel because there are so many extraordinary trains from this company :)

Exactly like Polar Express… However
Great little train for the price. IDENTICAL to Lionel Polar Express, except this one has a bell (ornament) that sits in coal tender and different sounds. Remote dial does not line up with “stop” and I only received curved track… No straight. I guess standards have lowered (even further than before).
