Manufacturing quality, Can't download operating app, No URL for downloading the app.
I was initially impressed with the apparent quality of the set. But, upon a 360-degree inspection the globe on one of the locomotives fell off when it was turned upside down for inspection. That by itself wasn’t enough to return the set. However, I could not download the Lionel app from the play store on my Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G. Also, my grandson wasn’t able to download the app on his Galaxy 22 phone. All of this along with not finding a URL for downloading the app on my paper work or Lionel’s web site made me question the operational quality of the system. Unfortunately, I had to return the train set.

Trains are great, delivery was on time perfect
It’s a Lionel product, it’s the best you can get for under a Christmas tree or for train collectors. The trains look and run great, the seller shipped it on time no issues.

Quality issue with The Great Locomotive Chase Deluxe Set
I have ordered this train twice. The first had a part broken off of the side of The General engine. The second The Texas engine did not work at all. Will not order another.

Quality Control Issue
One of the locomotives purchased from Amazon would not turn on. Returned item. Purchased from another vendor and one locomotive would not pair with remote. Lionel quality control issue with this product.
