This medium is wonderful!
This Sennelier egg tempera binding medium, is a very useful medium for using, not only with egg tempera. This medium works beautifully with casein paints (that they are what I use). This medium feels smooth and if you mix it with a little water it slide softly and you can do fine details; and after two or three days it become impervious to water. I recommend this Sennelier egg tempera binding medium to all artists that want to use it with casein and gouache paints too, and with a beautiful satin finish. Thank you Amazon and Sennelier. Very interesting
exceeded my expectations..was nicer to use than the bottle that came with the paint kit..faster drying and the paints acquired a pearly sheen that is really nice..the colors from the underpainted areas played off the additional layers, giving the painting a look unlike gouache or regular tempera/watercolor..I like it.
