Classic Wood Sets
Includes six complete sets of 74 rods each. Great price. The rods do fit back into the trays, not quite like the picture but the clear top does go back on and stays on.

The BEST Math Manipulative
The wooden Cuisenaire Rods are the most useful math manipulative! I’ve tried the rounded plastic version, but they aren’t as easy to handle. The storage containers that come with each set don’t secure the rods well if they tip over, unlike previous containers with better closures. However, since many people don’t keep the rods in their original containers, this isn’t likely a major drawback when considering this set.

Wooden Cuisenaire Rods
My teaching partner and I purchased 9 of the sets (total 54) because we wanted each student in our class to have one. They are wooden cuisenaire rods, and come in the plastic trays with a clear plastic lid that sits on top. We are very happy with our purchase and it was as expected.

Horrible packaging
The packaging was horrible. The "lids" on the sets came off in delivery because they were just sheets of thin plastic loosely taped over the trays. I ended up having to re-sort 18 sets of blocks. One set ended up being very incomplete. The quality of the rods were also not what I am accustomed to getting with Cuisenaire either. I bought some from another company and the packaging was secure and the quality was better.
