Higher quality food toy material, adorable play for kids
This was such a hit with the kids. My kids are 1 and 3 and immediately flocked to this. For play dates, all the other kids loved this as well. Packaging: if you are selecting to have it arrive in its own box, it comes in large thick box with a cute design on it. It also has a sticker of a photo of the product inside so if you are ordering it as a gift and don’t want the recipient to see the contents, I would order it with another box and not original packaging. Assembly: Assembly was relatively quick and easy. You do have to make sure that you put it together correctly as the pieces can be harder to come out if you put them in the wrong orientation but the instructions are really not that hard to follow. We ended up using it as a learning opportunity for my 3yo to help us build it. Otherwise, it takes like 5-10 minutes to open the package and build. Each bucket is individually wrapped with the food pieces inside. Quality: I would say the quality is the best thing about it. Yes, the cart itself is made of plastic but it does feel like a more durable plastic compared to other toys. The most impressive part of this is the food toys.. they are made of a soft, thick plastic? Like a plastic-silicone-y mix? I don’t know but we don’t have any other toys that feel like this material. I was quite impressed and really liked this aspect. The only one made of a standard, although very thick, plastic was the two jams, credit card, and credit card machine. Design: I was very impressed with the design as well. The cart has a wheel and handle so you can actually pull it around. The variety of foods provided was great. It came with many standard food toys (corn, grapes, etc) but I appreciated the pies and the flowers in the cart too. The bread was my son’s favorite. The working scale was a nice touch! It doesn’t read numbers but it has 4 notches of weight and it moves back and forth as you put things on the scale. I didn’t like the credit card. I feel like a cart like this should be a register and cash. Quantity: quantity of items was great although for the price point, I would have liked more items. I think if they had enough items to fill up each bucket with an even amount of colors (for color sorting) that would hav been ideal. We have lots of other play foods so that’s what I used to fill up the buckets in the photo but I displayed the foods that came with this product on the top. Final thoughts: it’s an amazing toy. The price point is a bit high but it’s much higher quality. The food toy marerial was impressive as well as the cart design itself. Could have came with more food toys to help with the price point. Would have preferred register and cash vs credit card and credit card machine.

Durable enough for a commercial setting
So this is a fantastic kit! The durabilty/ quality is far past what I expected! Nice solid plastic that is going to take a beating and keep working great for the kids! The kids have a ton of fun with it and you can use it to teach numbers and colors so tons of value for the money! The size is perfect for toddlers up to PreK kids. Assembly was a breeze, took maybe 10 minutes with most of the time just opening/ unwrapping things.

Keeps grandkids occupied!
Perfect imagination toy for the grandkids to play farmer's market with. It was easy to put together, is well made, and cute as a button. My older grandkids even enjoy playing with the younger grandkids with this set. It's not so large that it is overbearing, either. I enjoy having this!

Perfect for toddlers learning pretend play! So cute!!
My daughter loves playing farmer's market with this set. The little fruits are fun and colorful and she pushes the cart all over the house. Good for pretend play and practicing colors. Keeps her busy for a while. Do plan on buying more fruits and veggies as it was limited for the price. But very durable so expecting it to last a long time!

Kids love it!
This fresh market stand from Learning Resources is a really nice and great quality set! The cart stand is durable and sturdy which is great for my rough play kids. The fruit are nice quality too. They’re thicker but soft unlike some flimsy fruit from other sets we have. The kids have had so much fun playing with this set so far selling, buying, and even using the stand as a place to get ingredients to cook meals for me. The scale is another thing that sets this apart from anything else the kids have had. They have fun “weighing” out fruit to sell although I think it may need calibration since I was once charged a million dollars for some grapes haha Assembly was really quick and easy - about 5-10 minutes at most. It’s not a huge and heavy set which is perfect since I don’t want it to take up too much room and lightweight enough for the kids to move it around. The baskets are nice and also serve as storage for extra food items from other sets that didn’t have a good storage spot. Overall a great set that is now a long time fixture of the playroom for imaginative play!

Adorable, Durable, and Full of Imaginative Play
I got this farmstand playset for my 4-year-old, and it’s been a huge hit in our house. He loves pretending to run his own little market—selling fruit, scanning items, and even using the play credit card. My 6-year-old joins in too, turning it into a full-on grocery roleplay, and the toddler is just happy to pull the fruit out of the baskets and explore. The cart is sturdy and easy to assemble, and the play food pieces are colorful and realistic without being too small. Large, functional, durable. You simply cannot go wrong with Learning Resources. As a private education center owner, I know when I buy something from this brand it will last me for years. Easy to assemble and engaging. Leads to many opportunities for open ended play. Highly recommend.
