Versatile
Very cute toy and educational too! The child can push the letter and hear the sound the letter makes. My 18 mo old grand daughter like to pull the pup and push the buttons, and my 3 year old grandson likes identifying the letters so it great for all ages! It was a great value on sale for $10!

Really Cute
I gifted this to my niece and still to this day she is taking it everywhere with her???? She's is learning her ABC's and having fun! Really love the cheesy music. Very well made. String Length is perfect. Very good quality and worth the price. She threw it across the room and still in perfect condition. My niece is 3 yrs old. Noise level can be controlled but still makes a little bit of noise.

Best toddler gift you can give.
This is probably the best gift you could get a toddler. It is so simple, but they will absolutely love it. Our first child had one, and when we had a second, I bought it again knowing how much the first enjoyed it. It was a big success. Not only is it fun, but I also use it to teach them letters. Highly recommend.

Great toy! Rated 12m+, but using it for my autistic son who is obsessed with the alphabet.
My almost 7-year-old autistic son who is non-verbal has been obsessed, or rather IN LOVE, with the alphabet. He's always on the lookout for the next toy or video or picture that shows the alphabet or focuses on the letters. This wooden alphapup toy by LeapFrog was a nice addition to his collection and he was super happy! It is rated for 12m+, so the string is too short for my tall boy, but that's OK! He was more interested with the letter buttons, the sounds and music the toy makes. This toy is mostly made of wood which makes it super safe for your toddlers who are still putting things in their mouths. It's durable and very well made. It can withstand a hard drop or throw, and this has been proven in our household as my son can suddenly get very hyped up and impulsive. This would make a really wonderful gift. However, the current price is $39.99 which I found to be on the expensive side for a fairly simple toy.
