It's cute, it does the job but it's missing a note! It's supposed to be do rae me fa so la ti do Instead this toy goes Do rae me fa so la ti And it's bothers me to no end that it's missing the final note. That is all. Otherwise it's a super cute toy.

Small and ineffective
Smaller than expected. Length of the string attached to the playing stick is much too short, cannot reach to the other side of the instrument at full stretch

Not a Pleasing sound
This was a gift for my great granddaughter. I tried to play Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star but this toy does not have a tone that is pleasant. Notes are not able to make a pleasing sound. Disappointing.

Adorable!
I ordered this for my son, as he loves making and listening to music. The xylophone is packaged nicely in a simple cardboard box, and was wrapped in tissue paper for extra protection. I love that the packaging and the toy itself is plastic free, and easily recyclable too. The xylophone looks super cute - I especially love the rainbow colours of the bars contrasted with the sweet little clouds on either end. This would fit perfectly in a rainbow themed nursery or playroom. The stick is attached to the xylophone, which keeps it safe, but can sometimes result in the string getting tangled in the bars and not being able to reach the entire length of the toy. When weighed against the possibility of losing it this isn't such a problem, but could be a minor annoyance for some children. You can easily cut the string if this bothers you. There's nothing worse than an out of tune xylophone clanging away all day, but luckily this one sounds pretty good! It can sound a bit muted if not hit hard enough, but that's the case with all toys like this. My son has been loving making up his own tunes on here, and even instructing me to recreate his favourite songs for him. Having all of the bars a different colour helps him to remember what pattern to beat them in more easily when he is trying to learn a song. So far it seems very durable, and has held up under his heavy hand, which is as good a test as any. Overall, this is great for young children, I'd definitely recommend it.

My son loves this. Really like that the stick has no ball to avoid choking risk, and it is attached so can't be used to hit things with. Design is lovely and really nice quality and clear sound. Only downside is there sounds like only a half notes difference between 2 of the bars, so doesn't sound quite right, and string could do with being a little longer.

Cute and great quality
The Le Toy Van Wooden Musical Xylophone is a cute little xylophone that is fun for young children to play with. The xylophone is 21cm long so it doesn't take up much space and it is a great quality too. I love that the base is made from wood as it's nice to have a toy that's not plastic for a change. The xylophone has a nice sound to it and it feels like a more classic xylophone with the notes it plays. Each end of the xylophone has a cute cloud which is a nice aspect to make it more fun for children. I really like how the stick is attached to the xylophone by a string as it means we won't have to search the house for the stick that would likely get lost if it wasn't attached. This is quite an expensive product but it is a toy that will last a long time so I think it is worth it. I'd definitely recommend this toy and brand.

Another great item
The brand offers very good quality solid built wooden toys. Never had a bad toy from their range and this doesn’t disappoint either. I like the smaller size of it as you can end up with large heavy items and little space to store. Also easy to hold and move by little hands. The sounds are nice and the colours/design is pleasant. My only critic is the price which is a tad too high in my opinion.

Beautiful, solid, quality toy
The media could not be loaded. Such an engaging toy, suitable from 18 months. The colours are bright and i love the smiling cloud ends. The stick is attached so won’t go wandering. Makes the most beautiful sounds and helps with coordination. Highly recommend!
