Value for money as it is beautifully made and is a hand me down toy for sure.
Impossibile caricare il contenuto multimediale. Yes this is an expensive toy but it is made from sustainable wood and is really well built, there is some assembly required which needs a decent cross head screwdriver, there are 3 screw sizes but they are packed in individual packets so easily identifiable, the instruction clearly indicate what goes where. The tower/elevator is mostly preassembled and just needs fitting into the rest of the fire station car park, you get a wooden fire engine and a wooden helicopter supplied but the station is a size where lots of other toys will work with it, Hot wheels that sort of thing. My nephews and nieces will have tons of fun with this their imaginations will run riot. Lots of the decoration is painted on which makes a change from the decals that peel of in two minutes flat! This is a toy that will give years of service and will be able to be handed on through the years, classic wooden toy.

Not cheap, but sustainable and very beautiful
This toy set, consisting of a wooden garage with multiple levels, a helicopter, and a fire engine, promised hours of imaginative play, and it certainly delivered. The first thing to note is that the set comes in separate parts and requires assembly. This isn't a quick setup; you need to set aside a good amount of time to put it all together. Initially, I started assembling it myself, but then I decided it would be more fun for my grandson to unwrap and see it being built. The excitement of unwrapping each part and watching the garage take shape was a joy to witness. The quality of the toy is immediately apparent. It's made from heavy, solid wood, giving it a sturdy and durable feel. It's the kind of quality that makes you understand the price tag. While it isn't cheap, you can see and feel where that extra money goes. This isn’t just a toy for now; it's something that feels like it will last for generations, becoming a treasured item in the family. The garage itself is a good size, perfect for little hands to explore. It's attractively designed and well-made, with a working lift and two ramps that add to the play experience. The helicopter and fire engine included are a nice touch, but having additional vehicles enhances the fun, as I found out when playing with my 2.8-year-old grandson. He was captivated by it. However, there are a couple of things to keep in mind. Firstly, assembling the garage isn't a simple task. As someone who has worked as a QA Manager in toy safety and assembled hundreds of toys, it took me about two and a half hours. For someone less experienced, it might be quite challenging. Also, once constructed, the toy is quite heavy, so it's not something you'd move around easily. In conclusion, the Le Toy Van Garage is a wonderful investment in quality playtime. It's well-crafted, durable, and offers endless opportunities for imaginative play. The price reflects the quality and durability of the toy, making it a reasonable purchase. While the assembly may be complex and time-consuming, the finished product is worth the effort.

Sturdy, fun and made to last
Impossibile caricare il contenuto multimediale. This is good sized and well made wooden garage. The box says 3+ years but I am assuming this is to cover the manufacturer in case of a screw or something coming loose. It’s deffo attractive to younger children because I spent a good chunk of yesterday with our 2.8 year old playing with it!! It comes with a helicopter and a fire engine but luckily I already had some other wooden vehicles as you would need more to get the best opportunities. The assembly was harder than expected and we had trouble with two specific screws as you can see in my photo. We have a variety of screwdrivers but not one that was working on that screw in particular! The garage is good fun and we lined cars up for the lift, talked about where people were going when they’d parked, who the passengers were (I was pleased to see disabled parking and parent/child spaces included). We mounted rescues for crashes (the helicopter was in the most crashes!!) and the lift was in constant use. I wasn’t sure a 2 year old would manage the lift knobs but she deffo did. I loved my plastic Fisher Price garage as a child and this isn’t dissimilar. Wooden toys have made a comeback due to durability and keenness to avoid excess plastic and this toy looks as if it will last well.

Great quality and built to last
This fire and rescue garage set arrived packed in a slickly branded box, portable with a handle, which is ideal for gifting. Each part is individually wrapped and the overall presentation is well thought out. It comes in separate parts and needs to be assembled. You will need to allow time to put together all the components to make this garage. I ordered this for my youngest grandson. I did start putting it together, but stopped as I thought that it is so well wrapped in tissue paper, he will have lots of fun unwrapping all of the main parts and watching it get assembled. This is a really well made toy crafted in premium wood and beautifully decorated with water-based, chip-resistant non-toxic paints. All that is needed is a a screwdriver to put it together and all holes are predrilled and countersunk. Do allow time for it though. This fire and rescue garage set has two levels for cars with a ramp, a winding lift, a swing door and a working bell. It also includes a fire engine along with a rescue helicopter. It includes absolutely everything to capture a child’s imagination. I think that it will last the distance and provide hours of enjoyment. At just under £100 it is not the cheapest out there but feels like great quality and should last.
