Challenging But Enjoyable
After putting together the edge, I wondered if this puzzle would be too frustrating because pieces were cut so similar and in the blue sky edge many pieces seemed to fit in several places. Then there is no poster and the box cover image has printing that covers several big sections of the puzzle. (There is a green/white image on the inside of the cover that does help but it also has printing.) Even with those issues, I really enjoyed putting together this puzzle! There are so many distinct sections that I always felt I was making progress. It took me about a week and it really pulled me back to it for “ just a few minutes” after I had stopped for the day. It is a fun image, too.

Love love love it
We started with the dream of surrealism and LOVED IT. We immediately got this one and LOVED IT. Not sure why there was 1-star review - this is the best jigsaw puzzle we’ve ever played bless up ????

No picture image included
I have purchased many of the Laurence King puzzles and have enjoyed them. This puzzle does not have a fold out picture included, which makes it very difficult to complete.

Don’t bother

Nice puzzle.
They could have done a better job at cutting the pieces, but it was a nice puzzle.

Feels like work
This is a gorgeous puzzle, and we looked forward to the illustrated map of Paris; but it felt like a chore, not a pastime. The printing isn't great, which made the gradations in color too subtle, and the pieces are cut almost identically — no variations in shape. My over-60 eyes had to rely on a magnifying glass to distinguish among all the teeny-tiny Impressionist figures. There's no poster included, as advertised, which would have helped a lot — you have to rely on a picture that's considerably smaller than the box lid (another call for the magnifying glass). Also, it's 1000 very, very small pieces, not 500 as described. We sent it back — maybe younger, hardier puzzlers will enjoy it, as we had hoped to from the inaccurate description and reviews.

Excellent puzzle!
Un très beau puzzle dans une très belle boîte. Les pièces sont épaisses et solides et s’emboîtent avec un “clic” satisfaisant. Très peu de “poussière”. Les couleurs sont très belles et assez opaques (contrairement a certains puzzles infaisables avec une lampe à côté, à cause des reflets). Il n’est ni trop difficile (il y a très peu de grands aplats de couleurs, beaucoup de détails pour se repérer), ni trop facile (1000 pièces, on ne le fait pas dans la journée!).

Super quality puzzle! Lots of fun building it! Has an educational element too where on the inside of the box, it gives you more detail on each painting. Highly recommended.
