I bought this for my sons 4th birthday. He loves everything science so he is loves this! An adult or older child needs to assemble the figures bc of the different clay that needs to not touch with the special clay in between, etc. I have my son roll out and shape all the color clay and then I do the white one. I show him wear to put the negative and positive wires. He loves watching the lights turn on, it is so worth every penny!

Dry play doh
I was really excited to do this with my daughter and she was too but the Play-Doh came completely dry, we could barely form any shape without it breaking into crumbs. It was very disappointing.

Could be better
Great for learning but the clay dries out way too fast so it stinks for multiuse

The clay was dry
The media could not be loaded. I'm sure if this was as expected it'd be cool, but it definitely wasn't. None of the clay was at all malleable.

Great STEM activity for School!
I used this for our 4's STEM activity at School and the students loved it! So convenient, as the book explains in simple terms what a circuit is, contains the LED's and Battery Pack Case with leads. I did use Playdoh in addition to the Conducting Clay as we have 18 students and everyone wanted to 'Light Up' their creation! Thank you for a product that makes it easy on Teachers to expose even Preschoolers to the world of Electricity! ????

Try something else.
Great idea with useful information, but the clay was already dried out, making it hard to manipulate. LED unit is fragile, so many light bulbs stopped working or aren't working at all

I would recommend this product.
I bought this for my two 11-year-old grandsons for Christmas. They loved it, and they enjoy making and creating all kinds of models and designs. Easy to handle.
