Very nice set. Minor issues.
I almost gave this set 4 stars because one of the pieces (the first picture with the drawn red circle) was wrong. But even then I was still able to make it work and every thing else about the set was perfect. The pieces do seem to be comparable with the name brand. I’ve built many of the original botanical sets so I have a lot of experience with them. The roses are realistic and add a nice Halloween feel. The booklet is fairly easy to see, though you might need to use a light ever now and then to differentiate between matching dark green and black pieces. A few of the pages in the booklet were stuck together at the corner, but they can easily be cut apart. The bags with the pieces are labeled but it’s in a dark black text so you will probably want to shine a light on those too. The builds aren’t all the difficult. There’s 3 main parts, one for each style of rose. If you want a bunched up bouquet using all of the roses from one set, aim for a vase that has an opening of less than 3”, otherwise they will splay out and be a little sloppy. You could also combine sets and change up the sizes if you’re dead set on a specific vase. Not terribly cheap, but it’s well made.

Fun to put together
These flowers are fun to put together, but sometimes the intructions are confusing. That, and a decent amount of pieces are defective and don't fit together. They do give you extra pieces, which is good, but I feel like there could be better quality control to begin with.

A Perfect Display Piece!

Great twist on the red Lego rose bouquet

Pretty set, not for a beginner though
This black roses build set is lovely once built, but it is definitely a bit frustrating and not for a beginner or young builder. The directions are printed on a nice sized booklet made of quality paper, however the directions are not quite as detailed or clear as the leading brand that we all know and love. The bags the blocks are in are labeled by its respective numeric step, however, the typography is black and very very tiny (I only found it by accident). The instructions themselves are mostly fine, but a couple of times not as clearly illustrated as they could have been (hence the comment about not being for a beginner or a child). I also somehow ended up with a bunch of extra step one petals and other random pieces? I do love the set, but I am so glad I don’t have to build it again haha
