Great balsa wood model
Model for a teen or adult. These models are amazing and take lots of time and patience. They are truly a work of art when they are completed. The material to make this are very fragile. My husband is retired and has made over 10 of them and each time he works on one it amazes me. He really does enjoy them.

Great product
One of the wheels is too small and the plastic fairings for the landing gear and wing strut and prop are terrible. The balsa parts are die rather than laser cut so they have to be cut out with an X-acto knife. Other than that, it's a good model overall. I liked all the options on how to build it.

Guillowes best model
This is my second cessna from a Guillowes kit. Quality balsa, nice plan set. My first one tangled with a hawk and ended up in a tree. looking forward to building another one. It's a beautiful model. I recommend it!

Ich habe mir den Baussatz gekauft, weil ich mein erstes Balsa-Flugzeug bauen wollte. Verpackung und Versand waren vollkommen in Ordnung und auf den ersten Blick machte auch der Baussatz einen guten Eindruck. Nachdem ich mir dann beim Hersteller eine deutsche Beschreibung besorgt hatte fing der Spaß an. Ich habe es nicht für möglich gehalten, dass es so grandios dumme Konstrukteure gibt. Mir muss jemand erklären wie man den Rumpf eines Flugzeuges aus zwei teilen fertigen kann? Es wurden die Spanten vom Rumpf in der Mitte geteilt wobei diese an einem Stück sein müssen. Die Instabilität erklärt sich dadurch von selbst. Auch formgebenden Innenteile wurden total sinnlos in zwei hälften geschnitten. Ich muss an dieser Stelle anmerken das die größe des Kartons und der Balsa-Platten dafür vollkommen ausreichend gewesen wären! Das auslasern ist auch nicht wirklich gut gelungen man muss viel, sehr viel nachschneiden und dabei sehr vorsichtig sein. Der Bauplan war super und alles im Grunde kinderleicht da wirklich gut bebildert. Mit dem Ausdruck des Textes noch einfacher. Alles in allem ist das oder die Modell vom Hersteller so ziemlich ungeeignet da es zu viele Schwachstellen gibt nicht hätten sein müssen. Von da her zum an die decke hängen ok aber das war es auch Für Standmodellbauer gibt es eine Kaufempfehlung Für richtige Modellpiloten absolut keine Empfehlung

Schönes Modell aber benötigt viel Eigeninitiative
An sich ist das Modell nett zu bauen. Die Hölzer passen gut zueinander und die Anleitung ist zwar englisch, aber mit etwas Wörterbuch-Hilfe doch gut verständlich. Das Flugzeug ist aber für einen Gummizug-Motor gedacht und benötigt viele Extras, wenn man einen richtigen Motor einbauen möchte. Anlenkungen, Ruderhörner etc. fehlt komplett. Außerdem muss man vieles umbauen weil es so einfach nicht reinpasst oder nicht mehr zugänglich ist. Zum Bespannen liegt etwas Uralt-Papier dabei, Farben muss man selbst besorgen. Also wer gerne bastelt, und wer gerne tüftelt, dem wird das schon einige Freude bereiten.
