Such fun project for kids.
Such a fun project. The masks come plain white with soft fur trim and felt pieces you can cut and glue to customize. They’re sturdy enough to hold paint, markers, or even hot glue for extra decorations, so there’s a lot of room to get creative. The masks are lightweight and comfortable to wear for a few hours without feeling too heavy. I would highly recommend for children wanting to make their own mask.

Wonderful DIY craft for older kids!
My ten-year-old has recently discovered her love for crafting and DIY and is currently focused on creating intricate animal masks with felt and fur. This set looked like a good one to me as we have been buying the fur and felt separately but this comes with it all! The best way for me to describe the material of the cat masks is that it's like cardboard but thinner and slightly more flexible. The felt is of light-medium thickness and has a self-adhesive backing which is wonderful as my daughter has been using a hot glue gun to adhere the felt on other masks, and with these no heat or glue is required! She said she has no preference as to hot gluing vs. self-adhesion, because she said both methods are flexible in terms of getting the felt on the mask. As her mom I prefer the included self-adhesive felt as she has gotten some small burns with the glue gun. My daughter often shapes these masks and will widen the eye area sometimes which is easy to do with a decent pair of scissors. The mesh fabric for the eyes shown in our photo will need to be purchased separately, but just to note this will need to be glued in some way. She was able to use acrylic paint pens on the fabric for the freckles and black markings which worked perfect with the felt. While my daughter did create a cat mask here she has in the past trimmed the ears, widened the eyes, and added a bit of cardboard for the nose to create dog masks! Basically these masks are as flexible as a child's imagination and that means there are infinite possibilities. For the price, the quality and durability of the included materials, as well as the imaginative creativity and play that come along with this kit, I definitely recommend for any child that likes to paint and create, and really, for adults these would be a nice creative outlet too.

A fun mask kit
This is a fun kit! You have your mask bases, and then these adhesive furry sheets and strips of long fur in black, brown, orange, and pink. My kids are having a blast designing their cats!
