If built as instructed, the car doesn't work. If you're prepared to do an Internet search for how the rear axle should be attached to a rubber band, then it is definitely salvageable. I had to rewrite the instructions and add a catch for the rear axle. The rear wheels do need to be glued to the axle as the minimal friction fit is not good enough for winding. The white glue included may be ok for very patient people but I think the assembly is best handled by a glue gun. The die cut was not good enough for one of the dowel holes so you'll need an awl too. Plus scissors to cut the clear tubing if spacers are desired between the body panels and the wheels. I created a catch by breaking off and shaping a small piece of a paper clip using needle nose pliers.
