Bought these for Vacation Bible School kids camp (VBS). The cardboard pieces are sturdy, the older kids 3-5th grade could complete mostly with out help. I knew the younger kids would have trouble so I pre-assembled some pieces for them. We found that tacky glue holds well if you are neat and careful (and older) but with the younger kids, scotch tape was better! The glue was too messy for them. We decorated with markers and stickers. Kids thought they were cool once finished!
