This Is The Real Deal Folks - Totally Happy With This Purchase
I bought this sword because like most of you, I'm a fan of GOT. And if you get this as a gift for the GOT you know, I assure you he or she will be thrilled. Most surprising to me, this is an actual sword. It has the weight, heft, and feel of a sword they would have used in GOT times. If I sharpened it, the blade would be more deadly than it already is. Warning: This is NOT a toy folks, definitely not something to get children unless he or she can be totally trusted NOT to take this outside the house. Bonus Warning: This thing is very heavy. And the tip of the sword is deadly. If you drop it, the sword can maim, injure, or kill. For these reasons when you hang it on the wall make sure it is firmly mounted. You do not want it falling on to the floor and injuring a toddler or pet. Review: This sword is quality made. I was surprised just how well it is constructed. And as a bonus it came with the wood shield which makes for an impressive decor in my den. The quality of this sword is outstanding for the price paid. (Note: I was thinking about buying the Long Claw scabbard for this sword, but reviews I read about it is that people were VERY DISAPPOINTED with that. Complaints were serious enough that I decided to pass on purchasing it. Near as I can tell, the scabbard is NOT intended to be worn often, much less to carry a heavy sword in it. People say it falls apart, even when wearing once. I think it is intended for display, not for, e.g., a Halloween costume. Anyway, the sword, shield (mount), and hardware came in a nice box. That box was shipped in an outer cardboard box which protected the contents quite well. Everything arrived damage free, which was nice. If you are only thinking about buying this, get off your ass and send in your payment. Will be one of the better decisions you made in life.

A perfect addition for a collection
I was a little nervous about such a blind purchase for the price tag. I was BLOWN away when I received it! It’s beautiful, sturdy, heavy and so realistic. Not one flaw as far as I’m concerned. Received it on time and it was discretely packaged not to ruin an awesome Christmas gift. It NOT sharpened, I’m cool with that. Definitely authentic, with certificates of authenticity. I searched for a flaw but none to be found. For a collection and a fan, it’s perfect. The needle sword is next on my list!

The handle is loose
Got my sword after 3 months & look the bottom is bent in & the holder has marks & there’s no hole on the back to hold it

A Work of Art
I had to get this after reading other positive Amazon reviews on its quality. It arrived yesterday just before we watched the finale, S8E6, and how fitting to have it on display in our living/theater room. Packaging was stellar as far as protecting the sword and the discreet nature of the shipping box was perfect. It could have been a fishing pole from the outside. But faaar heavier! The sword is a beast. The tip is deadly sharp (and protected by a plastic shipping tip which immediately came off). Jon Snow's sword is called "Longclaw" and the name fits. Well made and perfect for display -- or fending off the door to door salesmen/religious nuts that come knocking. ;)
