Stupito, in senso positivo.
Come da titolo, il marchio di questa penna non si smentisce. Molto essenziale nell aspetto, pakaging perfetto e curato, la cosa più importante per me, è che il pennino su carta acquerello 100%cotone da 300 gr... VOLA, è un divertimento usarla, spero che duri nel tempo. Forse ne prendo un altra di misura diversa ????

SIPLIV Jinhao 62 Wood Fountain Pen
These SIPLIV Jinhao 62 Wood Fountain Pens are Lamy School copies. This does not bother me as I also own all of the Lamy School Fountain Pens/Pencils. These Jinhao fountain pens are grand writers. They arrived in a cardboard box, in a clear hard plastic screw tube, included a good converter and the same type of stickers like the Lamy does. The stickers and clear hard plastic screw tube are really nice perks. The body is wood and the snap top cap & end cap are hard plastic, not my preference but it feels like a softer hard plastic, better. Overall these SIPLIV Jinhao 62 Wood Fountain Pens are a grand purchase. I am pleased with with my purchase.

Defective nib on an otherwise decent pen :(
I was so excited to prepare a review for this pen since I have two Jinhao X750s that I absolutely adore, but I hit a roadblock when I realized my unit had a defective nib. Nothing I tried could make it put down a line. What a shame! The pen itself is solidly built and appears inspired by TWSBI ECOs in both its slightly triangular section (ECO-T) and hexagonal cap (ECO). Unlike the ECOs, the barrel here has a wooden shell (lined with plastic), and the cap snaps instead of screws. It arrives with a sturdy plastic tube case that's just big enough to house it (and, sadly, too small for most of my other pens), some name tag labels for the cap, and an ink converter already inside the body. The "Light Grey" color I ordered is a very warm gray in person, closer to sand or beige. The cap will also post securely on the back of the body. As a fan of Lamy pens, I noticed the nib clamped in a similar manner. And, like a Lamy, it slid right off with some sticky tape. I tried both Lamy and nibs which performed as expected, so the writing problem on my unit definitely stems from the Jinhao nib. I normally would give one star for something like a pen that will not write out of the box, but I'm bumping it up to two stars since I've been happy (lucky?) with other Jinhao products. There are many inexpensive pens on the market that can write flawlessly. Quality control, however, is not always a top priority. Sometimes you get a dud. I would still absolutely recommend this product if it appeals to you--just make sure it works before your return window ends!

Surprisingly Good Pen
I chose this pen with a little apprehension because of a bad experience I had with a different Jinhao pen. I hoped that this one would be more reliable and worthwhile. This pen is much more in line with the reputation of the brand and has proven to be a good pen, though I have not had it long. This is a lightweight pen, lighter than I usually prefer but not bad. It has an EF nib and I have a very specific need for this pen, though for daily writing I usually prefer an M nib. I chose the light gray edition, and the plastic cap and butt of the pen complement the maple wood barrel. This is not a pen that is flashy or will draw attention to itself. One interesting feature of this pen is the lack of a clip. That's not a big deal, though it is different considering that the cap appears to have a spot for one. One concern I had was if the pen would roll off the desk without the clip, and it does not: the cap is shaped such that the pen cannot roll easily. It comes with a converter but no ink. I loaded the pen with ink, messed with it to get it going, and started writing. This is how a pen should work; it simply works. So far there have been no problems with skipping or hard starts (excepting just getting it initially started which is true with any pen), and the nib is surprisingly smooth for an EF. It's not perfectly glassy (that's a big ask for any EF nib), but it is as smooth as several of my M-nib pens. It has a little feedback, but it is certainly not scratchy. The current price - $10 as I write this - makes this a good daily carry pen. This pen has proven to be better than I expected. For an inexpensive, no-frills pen, it writes very well (especially for having an EF nib) and it looks nice too.
