Best investment ever. Saving my sanity this hot spring.
This is the absolute best (Southern spring) summer toy ever. We read many of the negative reviews but having worked with pvc pipe before (our daughters bed is made out of pvc pipe) we knew that 1) Pvc pipe is EXPENSIVE! The pipe itself isn't too bad but the connector pieces are quite expensive and add up fast. The cost of the pipe and connectors goes up the thicker the pipe. This toy uses pipe that is quite large so the price would be much more than that of the pipe we used to make her bed. Plus it's colored which is difficult to find and adds an extra cost. So the cost of the pipe alone is worth the $85 of the product. 2) The nature of PVC pipe is that it comes apart easily. You absolutely need to use a rubber mallet to put pvc pipe together. Yes the water buckets fall out if you don't mallet them together. A good few whacks with the mallet and your water and sand buckets should stay put. I've watched my kids playing in this every day since the first end of March (We live in the south, it's the end of May here now and entering the 90's already) and as they continue to touch the pipes and ride their bikes through the 'car wash', even with the mallet the pipes will come apart and need to be whacked back together. The product is not broken, it is still usable. Just push the pipes back together with a good few strong whacks with a rubber mallet. The only negative factor I'd say is the quality of the plastic of the bucket that flips the water. After two months in the sun the bucket is getting weakened by the sun rays and is cracking. I'm sure my husband can drill holes in a sand bucket to replace this but the company should have used a higher quality plastic here. Regardless, for the amount of enjoyment this toy brings my girls and all the neighborhood kids, I still give it five stars. Just be sure to use a rubber mallet when you put it together and keep it handy throughout the summer.

Don't waste your money.
What a piece of junk. Total waste of money. I wasn't expecting it to be great, but.... For starters, the bubble machine didn't blow bubbles. No big deal, right? So, go to turn it on, and if there's too much water pressure, the bucket doesn't do anything but spin. You have to turn the water pressure down low to allow the bucket to fill up, but then the spray jets are very weak. The bins fall out with any amount of weight in them. Yes I squared it up, and did use the rubber mallet. It took me about 30 minutes to put together. My 6 yr old son told me 3 minutes in, that it wasn't very fun. I do get that it was geared for a younger age, but I don't even feel comfortable giving it to a friend who has a two year old. Don't waste your money.

Super Fun to play in, not to keep together ( or put together)
We use this at a child care center. It gets a lot of use! However, it is not the easiest to follow along and put together. This may be due to the piping barely being long enough to fit together. They left no room for overlap. Therefore, this whole set up comes apart at one place or another by barely a touch or a bump. Also, the sensory bins do not fit in the spot for it. We don't even use them because they just fall through. I would love this product if they made the piping slightly longer to get a good fit together so that the structure just stays together during play. The kids still love it and this has been way better than a sprinkler overall.

Pretty Awesome
It is exactly what I expected. I wanted a splash pad item without a pool that was more than just a sprinkler. The sensory bin aspect is nice and the addition of the bucket drop was great. The bucket occasionally gets stuck but it’s not a big deal. My husband is handy and got it put together with no problem. It isn’t the most sturdy thing in a world but I didn’t expect it to be since it is clearly made out of pvc. The only thing I wish was different is the disassembly aspect I’d love to be able break it down on occasion but once it’s up, it’s up.

Great value & fun product; a few flaws
My kids and I love this spray toy, and it is really a great price for the size. It works well, but is a bit tricky to assemble, and the joints DO pop apart if you move it around a lot or pull on it roughly. They are, however, easy to put back together. Use a mallet (gently) for best results. Whoever said the pipes were thin - these are standard PVC pipes. Not thin at all. The tipping bucket works most of the time, but does get stuck every now and again. The water pressure has to be set to just right - not too slow and not too fast- for it to work correctly. The bucket did break after a few uses. It is still useable, but has a crack in the side. The bubble blower so far works fine. Make sure you have lots of bubble solution on hand - it uses solution up quickly! Overall, very happy. Unlike any other toy on the market in its price range. Edit: One other flaw to mention - the trays for water play are a bit heavy for the frame when filled with water. Try inverting a crate and placing it underneath them for extra support. It has never fallen apart on us without extra support, but it does visibly bend (not permanently.) I still think this toy is well worth the money and fuss.

Sturdy, easy and fun!! Great item!!
Sturdy, easy to put together, works great! No complaints! Looks like they’ve fixed several of the things other reviewers complained about: easy color instructions, knew where and when to put the black runner pieces in for no leaks, sturdy, all pieces in box, nothing broken. I’m not the best at putting intricate things together but was able to do it easily and correctly the first time. Kids love it!!

Fun but needs upgrades.
I like the idea behind it. My 15month old and daycare kids love it. Installing it would have been muche easier if the instructions (and pictures) were clear. We’ve used it a handful of times and a few of the connections have started to leak. We’ve tightened it as much as possible but can’t seem to fix it. The bucket part does not line up properly and doesn’t fill/fall the way it should. Overal, it’s fun but it needs a few improvements for it to be worth the current cost of $140+.

Piece of garbage - don't buy
This broke while putting it together. The bucket doesn't line up with the water spout so doesn't fill or tip as it should. For the amount of money we spent on it, definitely not worth it. I don't recommend ANYONE purchase this.

i feel like I should have bought sprinkler instead
it was very flimsy and the spaces for the sand and water were too big to hold the containers when they had some weight in them. I had only put a handful of sand in one and it fell right through. And the same for the water. It was a really cool concept just maybe should have had screw connections in every corner to strengthen it. I did love the water bucket dump tho. That was a big hit
