Good for hand-eye coordination
The media could not be loaded. It says 8+ and I believe that the age range is on target. A very crafty 7 year old can probably enjoy this too. You know your own kids. My 8 yr old son loves this. Wearing bracelets is all the rage at school and all the kids are wearing them, so that must have something to do with the desirability of this item. He’s made some for his sister, dad, friends... The bands are sturdy. Only one band broke while making a bracelet. And it was maybe the third time placing it on the Loom. It comes with instructions. It teaches the children patience and a growth mindset. Did it not work? Let’s figure out what not to do. Guess what, next time, the bracelet is better. This item also gets kids working with their hands - a skill that nowadays is reserved for video game consoles. Your child will likely need help, but once they understand how to make the bracelets, they will be able to do it on their own. I need to get more bands. The ones that come with the set are enough for the first few days, but you are likely to need a refill if the kids really get into it. Overall very well done. I would highly recommend.

Great Activity for Kids
This is a great product for keeping kids entertained and would make a great gift. My very active 7-yr old recently sustained an injury that requires a lot of sitting, and this has been the perfect solution for keeping her happy during healing. She quickly learned how to use the loom and has been busy making bracelets ever since. After mastering the basic pattern, there are many patterns available online so that boredom doesn't set in. The kit comes with everything you need to start creating-- the loom, a hook, a bag of rubber bands in a variety of colors, and "c" hooks. It also includes instructions for 2 basic patterns and how to lengthen your creation, as well as a QR code for more patterns. The loom is designed so that it is easy to maneuver the hook close to the pegs, making it easier to hook the rubber bands. The looms are designed to be able to connect, so even though you can lengthen your creation using only one loom, purchasing multiple looms enables young crafters to do so with less frustration.

Perfect Christmas gift for a 10-year-old
Purchase this for my 10-year-old for a Christmas gift. She knew exactly what she wanted and the price point was perfect and saved me a trip of going to a store. It’s a fun gift for a 10-year-old who is artsy! Very nice box presentation too if it’s a gift. Looks just like the picture on Amazon.

Fun product, but misrepresented
I bought this for my 8 year old daughter. She enjoys using it and the loom seems to be decent quality. I'm giving it 3 stars because we only got 3 colors of rubberbands in our kit. The box and description make it sound like you will receive a variety of colors. It's not the end of the world, I ordered more rubberbands on a variety of colors, but given that this was a birthday gift I sure wish I had know ahead of time that I would need more rubberbands so I could have been prepared.

Overpriced
The packaging looked nothing like in the pic. The cheap tool came in a see-through plastic with a small quantity of rubber bands... Very misleading. And its more than double the price as available on other platforms like Shoppee, Lazada, Shein etc Extremely disappointed...
