Excellent for the beginner; works well
For those new to the hobby, this is the perfect turnout. Easy, straightforward, and reliable. Atlas is not the best looking track-it is often looked down upon by advanced modelers for this reason. What Atlas lacks in "looks" it makes up for in ease of installation and rugged construction. My only suggestion is to purchase your own wires. This turnout provides wiring that looks like computer cabling. These wires are simply too small to work with for the job. Consider purchasing 26 gauge wire instead to make installation easier.
