I like this belt set as a renaissance faire accessory! The hilt wasn’t very useful for me, but the belt itself is nice and fits well on my waist with plenty of “tail” left. I believe this would fit many people; I’m plus sized and have a 45in waist and it fits comfortably with excess. What’s wild is that while it doesn’t feel like leather (more like pleather, which is expected at this price point), the kit smells very much like real leather. I doubt it is real leather since it isn’t stated anywhere, but it would be a steal if it is!
Smells leathery right out of the box, so that's a plus for me! This is a perfect addition to little boys' regular sword play costumes. On a 5-year-old, we had to wrap the belt around the waist and do up-and-over-the-shoulder, but it is very adjustable. With no buckle holes, its very easy to adjust the belt to any sizing. Would easily fit an adult, but the extra slack can be fixed to fit a kiddo, too. Seems very well made and it was easy to put a plastic sword+sheath into the sword holder. Would recommend! Even if it doesn't hold up for an extended period of time, it will be a daily addition to the regular attire around here.
