This was a game-changer for my students.
This was a game-changer for my students. To be able to show them exactly how the numbers on a clock are just a number line from 0-60 or 1-12 then just wrapped around in a circle, makes all the difference to getting them to see what a clock face actually indicates. Showing just the hours or just the minutes also makes it easier for them to see what to look for on a clock to tell time. It makes it easier to get from just knowing the hours to knowing the exact minutes. The colors are great for separating each idea. The construction of the plastic parts is durable and easy to work for children and adults. The price is great for what you are getting. And the parts fit nicely without magnets or sticky things to keep them all together.

Great way to teach about time
I needed sometime to help my daughter understand how to tell time and this is the perfect set.bgreat for multiple kids as it comes with 3. I love that you can take it apart and see it spread out on the table. So far this has been a huge help!

Great for learning time and how to read a clock
These are the best educational clock set I have seen so far! I have gotten a few clock toys and attempted to explain how to read clocks to my 4 yo daughter for a while. But after this one! She is really learning! You can disassemble it and take numbers for both the hour and minute out, and straighten them, then explain in detail how to read the hour hand and the minute hand... she is still struggling a bit about how to determine the hour if the hand is in between numbers. But she is really getting a hang of it!

Oy Vey, anything to help teach time!
Just looking for anything to help. My daughter has dyscalculia (like dyslexia but for numbers). I don't know if that is part of the difficulty but it certainly doesn't help with reading time. So we picked up this little game set to help. It has been helping so that's a good sign. Hopefully with repetition and focus telling time with an analog clock won't be a hinderance to her anymore.

The hand2mind Telling Time Basics Center Kit is great for helping to teach your little one how to tell time. After the basics of learning numbers these little clocks are incredibly helpful to teach time on. The whole clock face comes apart for indepth explanations on how a clock works and to simplify the counting part of it. Its easy to remove the hours and minutes and work with each piece so your child doesn't get overwhelmed with all the explanations. It is even a good jump start for teaching multiples of 5 on the minutes.

Great Fun For Families With More Than One Child
Our six year old grandson loves using these clocks to teach his four year old brother how to tell time. When our grand daughter is able to tell time, I’ll get this toy for her so she can help her sister learn how to understand time as well.

The Best Way to Teach Kids about Time!
Everything is digital now so many kids struggle with telling time (analog). These clocks are great. They come with several clocks and a demonstration clock so an adult can model and instruct and the child can manipulate their own clock. Makes it so easy to explain the minute and second hand. There are activities too.
