Really nice sand bucket set! It feels sturdy and good quality. Size is perfect for a toddler and it held up well during a day at the beach. Makes collecting sand easy!

A Diamond in the Rough!
This Sand Play Set from Green toys is definitely a Diamond in the Rough. It is nothing like the cheap plastic sets that will bend and disappoint. It is made from strong recycled plastic, that is BPA free, and is tough and sturdy for child's play. We bought two one for each of our toddlers and they love them. It is recommended for children ages 3 and above but our 2 year old plays with it just fine (just watch younger children who may poke eyes with the rake, or want to put it in their mouths - though its safe). PROS 1. Eco friendly and safe for young children and is made in the USA. 2. The beach bucket has a strong rope handle, (so no bending or breaking away from the bucket like plastic ones do) 3. Durable and quite stylish CONS 1. Pricey (but you can save a few bucks by buying it here on Amazon, which is much cheaper than other retailers and toy stores). OVERALL Worth every penny and will last a lifetime.

The Sturdiest Sand Toy We've Ever Owned
We bought this bucket for our first child five years ago, and soon after bought a second. It has gone through a second child, traveled to the beach, spent it's entire life outside in the sandbox, and looks brand new. The color is blended into the material so there is no chipping, it is thick and sturdy so hasn't cracked despite extreme temperature changes from hot to cold, and the rope handle is still fully functional. The proper rope handle is what got my attention in the first place, and it can be replaced if needed. Other sand toys have come and gone quickly -- cracked plastic buckets, broken handles, snapped shovels, and bent rakes. This company though has built a quality product that can withstand the rigors of the sandbox. Our only issue is that this toy is so nice we are always afraid we are going to lose it at the beach!

Quality & Unbreakable!
This is a fantastic sand play kit! The Green Toy range is absolutley first rate and environmentally friendly to boot. We now have a few of there pieces this being our latest purchase. It is sturdy, functional and lovely to look at. Our little boy just loves the rope handle. The shovel and rake are well made and feel really substantial. Most beach/sand sets are made from very flimsy promary coloured plastics. We have also purchased the Geen Toys tug boat & Tea set. (If you're in the market for a really great working play Tea set you can't go passed the Green Toy one. My son and I actually put tea in the pot (cooled down tea obviously) and have "proper tea parties.")

Great basic sand toy set
I got this for my son when he was around 10 months old before we went on a trip to Cape Cod. He absolutely loves it (he is almost 16 months now) and plays with it even when he's not at a beach or a playground. I have no idea why he loves this set so much but there are times he will carry around the shovel like a security blanket! It is a very sturdy set and will last for years. I just wish it came with a few additional toys.

Very durable, worth the extra money
When I bought this a year ago, my husband teased me for spending so much money on it when you can easily find a plastic bucket for like 2 bucks. But you know what? We still have this bucket and my toddler uses it all the time. Not just for beach days, but to carry rocks, slosh water around and play in the garden. It certainly is the Porsche of plastic buckets and I think it is worth every penny. The rope handle is the smartest, a plastic handle would have probably broken by now. Anyhow, these days I like to remind my husband that we've had this bucket a year now and it is still going strong. I great staple for any adventurous little one!

Incredibly well made to last
This is the best play set you can buy, full stop. Those crappy plastic ones you can buy at the grocery store will break easily, and can only withstand a few hours in the sun before becoming brittle which usually turns into a disposable toy that makes its way into the water. Like other Green Toys products, these are incredibly well built, solid tools that won't snap, and aren't meant to be throwaways. Rope handle is a really nice add on that won't break, snap, or get dislodgeed with a heavy bucket load. Absolutely love these and they are well worth the added cost to not toss in a landfill after a use or two!

En su momento nos decantamos por este producto, porque nos pareció muy interesante el hecho de que esté hecho con materiales reciclables y que no contiene BPA. Otra de las cosas que nos gustó que no es el tipico cubo que lleva los dibujos marcando un poco el niño/niña. Nosotros lo compramos para jugar en la arena del parque, y nos ha sorprendido la calidad, sobretodo como agarra el rastrillo. Al final ha pasado a ser el que llevamos al parque y a la playa. Lo recomendamos 100%

Einfach klasse...
Ich habe noch mehr Spielzeug von Green Toys gekauft. Die Qualität ist gut, ein sehr stabiler Kunststoff, der viel mitmacht. Keine schlechten Gerüche und schöne Farben, die bisher nicht verblichen sind. Unsere anderen "normalen" Plastik-Sandeimer haben alle nen Riss oder sonst irgendwelche Makel abbekommen. Und mit dem Burgförmchen haben wir schon die tollsten Sandburgen gebaut. Eine klare Kaufempfehlung, grade auch für Eltern die Plastikspielzeug kritisch gegenüber stehen. Manchmal ist es einfach total praktisch und ich bin froh, das es heutzutage solche Produkte gibt.

Sturdy and beautiful! Love the rope handle and has survived sand and mud very well so far. Feels like it will be very durable.
