Füllfeder ist optisch ok. Habe sie erst einmal nur ausgepackt. Leider war die Verpackung keine edle Holzkassette in einem Leinenbeutel, wie angegeben, sondern eine einfache Kartonverpackung. Warum in der Produktbeschreibung falsche Angaben stehen, kann ich nicht beantworten. Hoffentlich funktioniert wenigstens der Füller......

A masterpiece
Writing with this fountain pen is a pleasure : everything is perfect, the ink flow, the smoothness of the nib and the slip on paper. In addition, all materials used to manufacture the pen are of good quality and the pen is very elegant. To do better may be difficult.

Perfekter Füllfederhalter
Zu den technischen Daten: Der Füllfederhalter kann mit Patronen oder mit einem Konverter gefüllt werden. Der Füllfederhalter ist in offenem Zustand ohne Karte ca. 13 cm lang. Mit Karte ist er ca. 13,7 cm lang. Das Gewicht beträgt ca. 34 g ohne Kappe (mit Tinte).. Der Füllfederhalter verfügt über eine 18 kt Gold-Feder. Zur Bewertung: Der Füllfederhalter zeigt ein ausgezeichnetes Schreibverhalten. Aussetzer gibt es keine. Beim Anschreiben gibt es nie Probleme, der Tinten-Fluss ist sofort da. Vom Schreibverhalten des Füllfederhalters bin ich deswegen sehr angetan. Der Füllfederhalter macht einen sehr guten Eindruck, wenn man ihn in die Hand nimmt. Der Füllfederhalter ist ausgezeichnet verarbeitet. Das Gewicht ist sehr angenehm, die Karte stecke ich allerdings niemals auf. Es handelt sich hier um einen langes schlankes Schreibgerät. Für meine Hände ist dies gut, ich weiß jedoch nicht, wie es Personen mit sehr großen Händen ergeht. Deswegen sollte der Füllfederhalter vor einem Kauf auf jeden Fall ausprobiert werden.

A fabulous fountain pen but it's worth being patient for best price
As stated in the headline, this is a wonderful fountain pen. I love sterling silver pens anyway and this one is well balanced in the hand and a nice weight, despite the fairly slim shape. Some people don't like metal sections (I'm not one of them) but that's really the only possible issue I can think of. The nib is smaller than has become the norm more recently, size 5 rather than size 6, and it writes beautifully. It's slightly soft and wet, very smooth, and a true western medium. The supplied GvFC converter contains a small spring ink agitator to make sure there are no problems with ink flow and always makes me wonder why all pen manufacturers don't include something similar. There's nothing to fault with this pen although some might say a piston filling system should be included at the price being asked. And that brings me to my main reason for putting up this review. If you're interested in buying this pen, try to be patient and monitor price as regularly as possible. It's currently showing as £619 and has been over £700 during the past few months. The price has also dropped as low as £400 during the past 6 months and while that's quite rare the price does drop fairly regularly to about £450. As anyone reading this might not be surprised to see, I recommend the pen highly but I also recommend a certain amount of patience before buying in order to get a true bargain.

Ha sido una experiencia espectacular
Soy un fan de estilográfica tengo un montón de montblanc ,pelikan ,Parker ,montegraffa ,pilot y etc, pero graf von Faber como k Nunca he usado ha sido mi primer de esa marca,justo k Amazon ha bajado mitad precio (solo400euros) y no podía resistirme,el tacto aún mejor k las marcas k he mencionado antes,y la plata de rey es súper lujo y noble,no tiene nada k ver con mis plásticos montblanc y Parker duo fold,digo k es como la misma gama con pelikan m700.Pero lo único malo es k el sistema de carga no es pistón,pero pongo de toda la forma 5 estrella,porque el tacto al papel es maravilloso te hace olvidar todo lo malo!
