A Pool mattress that won't hold air!
This item would not hold air and curled up like a Taco. I ordered from a company called Outdoorlivin which also runs under the name Direct 2 U Services. If you attempt to order this item do not order from any of these companies. They are fraudulent. They will sell you a faulty product and request return but will never refund your money or offer an exchange. They will keep your money and call it a restocking fee.

Love this float!
My kids LOVE this float! Three small or two kids fit easily with plenty of room to move about. They love climbing all over it and and have turned it into a battleship, a floating island, and a number of other creative things. I'm getting ready to order a second one so they can have competitions when their cousins or friends are visiting. (And someday I hope to be able to use it too!) ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Okay - it's now been a few months since we've had two of these floats, and the kids are in heaven. The whole neighborhood is here some days - it's amazing how many kids can fit on these! And I'm in heaven too!! Last month I was finally able to have a few hours alone in the pool while the gang was out for the day. WHAT A FABULOUS FLOAT!!! First, it is extremely easy to "board". Just plop yourself on it and float away- no slipping off while trying to get your balance. It is so roomy you can turn over without getting off the float and into the water. There's plenty of room to put a can of soda (or whatever) in one of the pockets and have easy access to it. You can also sit up easily too and ride it in a half-sitting up position. I can't say enough good things about this float - especially if you're a middle-aged woman like myself who enjoys relaxing on the water, listening to some good music, soaking up some rays,etc. (I'm sure men would love it too!) Can't wait for the kids to go back to school so I can have the pool - and the float! - to myself all week!

Double Mattress Float? All Day. Literally.
I ordered this as a present for my stepmom for her birthday (which is in October). We live in Arizona so I figure there was still enough time for her to get decent usage out of the thing before it needs to be put away for the winter. Her pool was recently just completed, and this has been the time she has been dreaming of. I thought this would make a great gift. She can lay on it on her own with lots of room if she wants to have a book or a drink she can place in the holes. Or she can lay on it with my dad. She absolutely loves the thing. I think that the pillows that are attached are a really nice touch and set this apart from other lounge floats. Also this is the size of a double mattress (literally) so it has so much space. If you have a large pool, this will do you well. I think it would overwhelm a smaller pool though. Definitely a wise birthday gift on my part. Kudos to me and a very happy birthday she had. She told me she was on the thing for about 6 hrs.

Relax in the sun
Have purchased several of these over the years. They are not always the most durable raft but the size is good and it's comfortable. One bit of advise, don't use the supplied patch if it gets a pinhole. Get a repair patch kit from a supply store as the adhesive is usually better.

NOT FOR YOUNG KIDS
If buying for ONLY ADULTS, then this would have received FIVE STARS! However, I spent the extra money to buy a large durable float for my 9 and 11 year old KIDS to play on in our pool. First of all, it was VERY difficult to blow up - you must use some sort of device (we used our pump for our air matress and it was still pretty cumbersome). But once we blew it up it did indeed look and feel like a durable, thick float that ended up being very comfortable (and nice looking). My kids of course thought it was the greatest thing in the world. After about three days, my daughter told me there was a slight cut on one of the pockets. I'm sure they were the cause if it, but the reviews said it was durable, so I assumed it could handle two small kids. I was wrong. Within a day or so after we noticed the cut, it had turned into a hole and it filled with water and deflated. For me personally, it was an expensive mistake. So, don't buy it for young kids to play on, but DO BUY THIS if it will be used by older more mature swimmers. And be prepared for how heavy and difficult it is to blow up.

THE Most Comfy Air Mattress You'll Ever Own
The only reason I would give this floatie 4 stars and not 5 is because it takes an insane amount of time to blow it up. I used a hand pump and my mouth, alternately, and it felt never-ending. But once I did get it blown up it lasted the entire summer and it's still blown up in my backyard, and it's November. It really is perfect for 2 people, big or small. My husband and I are both in desperate need of some diet and exercise, and we were able to comfortably float on it together with no loss of air or drooping. And let me tell you something... this air mattress is literally the most comfortable one I have ever laid on, EVER. I have a Tempurpedic mattress and it rivals that for comfort. I completely passed out on it on multiple occasions because it's that darn comfortable. I have major back/shoulder/arm/wrist issues and I could lay on this mattress in any position and I was in heaven. I've never measured it but I have a hard time believing it's actually 78" long because I'm only 5'6" and I don't think there's a lot of room leftover at my feet. Whatever, doesn't change the comfort level and that's why I gave it 5 stars.

Not as impressed
I had the orange/pink air mattress, and it fit three people on it, and it lasted me for years. I got this one, the same three people tried laying on it together, and it would not fit all three of them. I believe the dimensions are smaller. I used this blue one about 3 times, and my next time out to the pool, it was deflated. Pumped it back up, cannot find the hole, but this air mattress does not seem to be as good of quality as the other one I purchased years ago

Très satisfaite. C'est vrai qu'il n'est pas vraiment fait pour 2 personnes mais pour une personne c'est excellent car on peut prendre toute la place et même se tourner sans se mouiller. Je l'ai soufflé une seule fois en un mois, je le laisse dehors et pas besoin de le resoufflé car il reste dur très longtemps

It is as exact described
Although it’s smaller than one purchases at a Walmart in Florida the concept is the same. The pockets allow for water to oool and use to refresh if desired to. One of the best pool floats I’ve purchased in a long time other than the same type in Walmart. A little larger would have made it perfect. There is no way that this float accommodates 2 people without sufficient room between or touching the other person while in use the float that is why 4 stars instead of 5 BUT would definitely buy again maybe different colour next time

Only 68 inches long!!!
Listing says 78 inches but true dimensions are 72x54 inches uninflated and only 68 inches long when inflated! If you look at the box closely you see they have put very small people in the picture. Would definitely not fit 2 people unless both are very small. The box also says 78 inches so I seem to have been sent the right product, but manufacturer is either dishonest or doesn’t know how to measure. You are getting a 68 inch mattress. Buyer beware.
