The braids have wire in them so they can be shaped. That is not in the product description. The wig was returned as we wanted a natural look,

A bit large for me, but very cute.
Really cute. It was a little too big for my head, but a rolled up hand towel underneath made if fit perfectly. My own hair is practically non-existent. A person who had lot of hair might not need the towel.
