Tolles Teil
Ein tolles Teil! Schon die Montage mit sehr guter Anleitung macht viel Spaß! Antriebsmotor hat nicht funktioniert (deswegen bei Qualität nur 4 Sterne), wurde aber problemlos umgetauscht. Mit dem Modell kann auch technisch nicht so versierten Menschen die Funktion eines Motors super erklärt werden, außerdem ist es eine klasse Deko, die auch was hermacht! Hab bis jetzt nur den Boxermotor, werd mir aber sicher noch andere kaufen! Bin voll auf begeistert!

Volle Punktzahl! Der aufbau macht Spaß, und das Ergebnis ist jeden Cent wert!
Wenn jemand noch überlegt ob kaufen oder nicht, schlagt zu! Ist jeden Cent wert!! Ihr werdet dafür belohnt! Ein sehr schönes bewegliches Modell mit Original Motoren geräusch, dazu noch ist die Bauanleitung auch ein Schönes Buch mit der Geschichte von BMW Motorrad. Das getriebe lässt sich auch schalten und ist beinahe wie das Originale aufgebaut. Beim Motor ebenso, Nockenwelle, Stösselstangen.... aufgebaut wie eben das Original!

Super Bausatz, Passgenauigkeit nicht optimal
Toller Bausatz und Handbuch mit super Bauanleitung. Leider sind mache Bauteile, naja sagen wir sehr tolerant gefertigt. Speziell das Motorgehäuse ist sehr "verzogen" gegossen. Dadurch, dass man dieses mit Kurbelwelle, Zylindern und Nockenwelle zusammenbauen muss ist es ein echtes Geduldsspiel. Frustfaktor etwa 99,9%. da die Gehäusehälften nicht passgenau sind und immer wieder alles verrutscht oder rausfällt. Prinzipiell 5 Sterne, wenn da nicht dies Qualität wäre. Jetzt bin ich gerade am Getriebe..... nichts für unruhige Gesellen aber machbar, hoffe ich. Kein Bausatz für ungeduldige Gesellen. Ich habe den Bausatz nach Frustmomenten erst mal sechs Wochen weggestellt und komme jetzt langsam voran. Nachtrag Mai 2023: der Boxer ist jetzt zusammengebaut und funktioniert! Das Getriebe hat wirklich Probleme bereitet. Hier gibt es 2-3 Bauteile, die perfekt eingebaut werden müssen. Dies geht aus der ansonsten sehr guten Anleitung nicht eindeutig hervor. Erst wenn sich das Getriebe nach vollständigem Zusammenbau sauber schalten lässt (rauf und wieder runter, mehrfach probieren) passt alles. Dar Sound ist unterirdisch und wird von dem Elektromotor vollständig überlagert. Die Zahnräder haben teilweise soviel Spiel, dass sie nicht wirklich sauber einrasten. Fazit nach erfolgreichem Zusammenbau: +/- geiler Bausatz mit hohem Frustpotenzial - schlechte Passgenauigkeit, gerade der großen Teile - den Sound hätte man so wie er ist, weglassen können + tolles Deko Stück für jeden 2V Boxer Fan + schön zu sehen wie sich die Kolben, Ventile und Kipphebel korrekt bewegen + schöner Zündkerzen Effekt + Verständnis für den Motor und dessen Bau- und Funktionsweise - Verarbeitung der Bauteile hat noch viel Luft nach oben

Grossartig
Das Produkt ist grossartig. Sehr gute Passgenauigkeit und viele Möglichkeiten, das Modell optisch zu verfeinern. Ich habe z.B. den Vergaser lackiert und mit Schrauben aus dem Brillenfachgeschäft verfeinert. Sieht toll aus.

Schönes Motormodell - Getriebe mit Tücken
Das Wesentliche vorab: Dieses Modell des BMW-Motor-Klassikers ist schön gemacht und ein Blickfang für Technik-Affine. Die Montage macht sehr viel Spass hat allerdings seine Tücken sobald man zum Getriebe kommt. Wahrscheinlich aufgrund eines Produktionsfehlers (evtl. beim Auswerfen nach dem Spritzgiessen) war bei mir eine Aufnahmebuchse für die Schaltstufen-Arrettierung verformt. Deshalb musste ich mit einem kleinen Gasbrenner die Führung vorsichtig anwärmen und in die richtige Position bringen. Danach funktionierte die Schaltstufen-Arrettierung. Nächstes Problem war die ineinandergreifende Verzahnung der beiden Schaltkulissenräder. Schaltet man in den 5. Gang rutscht das kleinere Kulissenrad oft am letzten Zahn aus dem Verzahnungeingriff weil das grössere Kulissenrad kurz zu weit dreht und dann funktioniert das Herunterschalten nicht mehr. Hier fehlt ein mechanischer Endanschlag am grossen Kulissenrad. Lange Rede kurzer Sinn...niemals in den 5. Gang schalten sonst heisst es oft Getriebe zerlegen und Kulissenräder neu ausrichten.

Hochwertiger Bausatz
Es hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht, dieses Modell während der verregneten Vorweihnachtstage zusammenzubauen. Die Qualität und Passform der Spritzgussteile ist erstklassig, die Anleitung sehr ausführlich und angereichert mit viel Begleitinformation. Als zusätzliches Werkzeug empfehle ich einen kleinen Seitenschneider und ein Cuttermesser, Klebstoff benötigt man nicht, aber 3 AA Batterien. Auch wenn mich meine eigene BMW zum Kauf dieses Modells motiviert hat, würde ich mir wünschen, wenn diese Modellreihe noch fortgesetzt wird, vielleicht ein L2 (Ducati) oder dergleichen...

Amazing detail and quality
The quality and precision of the molded pieces was a pleasant surprise. I didn’t have any issues with assembly, the pieces fit together perfectly. The quality of the instructions reminded me of the factory manuals I use to maintain my own BMW R90S. The whole assembly will take about 3 to 4 hours at a comfortable pace and few breaks. The book included was filled with interesting facts about the history of the boxer engine and the R90S. Being an owner of an R90S I was particularly drawn to this model because of the advertised accuracy. The engine housing and gearbox are see through and you can see the relationship between all the internal components. The ‘spark plugs’ light up or fire in the correct timing. There is even an alignment tool that ensures that the timing belt is installed with the pistons and flywheel in the correct positions so that the spark plug fires when the piston is in the right position. To top it all off, the gearbox actually shifts between gears including neutral! I would recommend this to anyone regardless of your skill level. The most difficult aspect of this project is removing the waste plastic where it’s attached to the mold remnants. I’d advise a pair of electrical wire snips that cuts all the way to the tip to cut parts free then trim them with a razor utility knife. The plastic is too thick to cut safely with just a utility knife. Be careful not to get fingerprints on the inside of the clear plastic. These can’t be removed once assembled. I can go on and on praising this product, in summary this is an extremely well designed, precision, functioning model that does an excellent job exhibiting the internal relationship between the moving components of a boxer engine and transmission.

Excellent Model
I have yet to build the unit - I have examined the parts & the quality is obviously very high. The instructions book is also of a high quality & contains the history of the BMW motorcycle since it's inception in the early 1900s. This is a good read. The instructions are simple & very easy to understand. . I highly recommend this product.

Era da un po di tempo che cercavo un motore in kit da costruire che fosse ben fatto ed anche di una certa dimensione. In passato avevo comprato un kit Honda 750 Four della Minicraft ed era stata una pessima esperienza, tant'è che non lo ho neanche completato... Beh, con la Franzis siamo di fronte a ben altro ! Sono contentissimo dell'acquisto: il kit è soddisfacente da ogni punto di vista: come precisione, come estetica... e poi la chicca del cambio a 5 marce funzionante... credo sia l'unico modello statico sul mercato (forse anche rispetto al passato) con cambio funzionante ! e poi è tutto ben riprodotto, lo spinterogeno che fa dare la scintilla al momento giusto... l'unica cosa a cui stare attenti è di ripulire bene alcune sbavature della plastica che potrebbero interagire col funzionamento corretto del motore... poi c'è il libro con la storia delle moto Bmw e le istruzioni di montaggio molto buone... Insomma: prendetelo, montatelo e non ve ne pentirete
