That's All Brother lives on
This model is a detailed likeness of the real thing. I helped restore the full size aircraft so I do have about 10 years with TAB. This best serves as a model of history and should NOT be a kids toy.

This C-47 Skytrain led 800 planes in the Normandy D-Day Invasion!
The message written to Hitler on "That's All Brother" could be roughly translated to us boomers as "Deal with it, loser!" It was meant to convey the beginning of the end. What is really exciting is that this particular C-47 was very nearly scrapped until The Commemorative Air Force (CAF) researched the plane's history and restored it to flying condition. This little model is of a piece of history that was nearly destroyed.

Amazon packaging is terrible!
Item is great! Amazon packaging is NOT! This was in a thin mylar bag with no protection at all. Box was crushed in several places. At least the plane was protected inside the manufacturers box from Postage Stamp.
