This costume is much nicer than I expected. The bodice is a very thick, plush fabric that holds its shape very nicely. I bought this for my daughter who is about 5'0" and 110 lb., so I was worried about it being too snug but the halter neck make it very adjustable and the fabric has a lot of stretch, without being too clingy. My only negative is that the arm bands are too tight to get on very easily, but I just cut them and added a little elastic.

Really nice costume but came without the cape!!!
Good quality, fits my 12 year old daughter really well and she really liked it but I had to go out and buy fabric to make her a cape.... I couldn't return it because it was too late to order another one for Halloween and in the stores it was sold out!!! Not fair!!!!

Great costume for the price. Sizing may run a little small. The boots didn't stay up but I still thought it was very cute.

Good for small-sized women
Based on the previous reviews, I thought this costume would be snug on my petite adult-shaped body. I am 5'0" tall, about 105 lbs, with a 34" bust and a 28" waist - I usually wear a petites 2 or 4, can wear a Junior 3-5 / small, and sometimes a girls size 14/16. The fit turned out to be *almost* perfect for me. The bodice is shaped for somebody with a small/flat bust; had to take in darts at the sides of the bust to get the bodice to lay smooth. The costume still felt roomy after the adjustment, but looked fine. The stretchy fabric at the back of the costume and waist should make this costume adjust to a variety of body types. The boot tops also were pretty tall compared to the picture, coming to about 3" above my knee. The comments about the size of the foot-cover on the boot-tops are spot-on. I wear a woman's size 5 shoe, and the tops barely covered to my toes. I adjusted the fit of the boot-tops by pinching them at the back of the knee (a couple of stitches) to get them to stay up, and I wore red shoes to compensate for the fact that the shoe covers were not completely covering my feet. I used the provided headband with the costume, it was flimsy but worked fine. The silver gauntlets would have been fine, but I replaced them with gold-colored ones from another vendor. I also accessorized with a gold "lasso of truth" that I made from fabric-store trim - the gold belt that came with this costume was sturdy enough to stand up to the weight. A quality comment - the metallic finish on the skirt is the result of a shiny plastic coating on the cloth, and it is over-printed with the white stars. When the costume arrived, the skirt was stuck to itself in many places and required delicacy in separating the stuck parts. Some bits of the white for the stars came off in the process. It wasn't intrusive, but I did notice that happening. That having been said, I would recommend this costume for petite/slender women that find women's "size small" costumes to be too big for them. It won me 2nd runner-up in a costume contest at the party. :)
