Schöner Hintergrund
Hab schon vor längerem den Hintergrund und die Erweiterung erworben. Die Stöße sieht man so gut wie nicht. Man muss schon wirklich danach suchen. Bin sehr zufrieden damit.

Gut aber sehr teuer
Der Hintergrund ist gut, das Papier ausreichend dick. Die Farben sind gut getroffen und die Übergänge passen. Negativ ist, das der Hintergrund, schon wieder, um 20% teurer geworden ist, von 32.- im Oktober 23 zu jetzt 39.- . In Anbetracht das nur Papier bedruckt wird extrem teuer. Darum nur 3 *

Farbunterschiede führen zu keinem schönen Ergebnis
Vor zwei Jahren habe ich den Modellhintergrund samt Verlängerung erworben. Damals war ich zufrieden, Farbunterschiede konnte ich keine feststellen. Jetzt habe ich erneut den Modellhintergrund erworben (diesmal ohne Verlängerung), um den bestehenden zu erweitern. Doch mittlerweile ist dieser deutlich dunkler und hebt sich leider deutlich vom Rest ab. Absolut enttäuschend, anscheinend wurde hier in der Produktion/Farbauswahl etwas umgestellt. Es könnte also durchaus sein, dass man z.Bsp. die dunkelblaue Basisversion erwirbt und die Verlängerung hellblau ist. Daher lieber Finger weg. Der negativen Produktbewertung muß ich mich daher anschließen.

Rausgeschmissenes Geld
Ich habe diesen Hintergrund von Faller gewählt, da er meinen Vorstellungen entsprach. Nachdem ich ihn heute angebracht hatte, überzeugt er mich absolut nicht. Unterschiede in der blauen Farbe der einzelnen Segmente. Als Verlängerung für die linke Wand kaufte ich die FALLER 180511 - Modellhintergrund-Verlängerung "Schwarzwald-Baar" und da ist der Unterschied der blauen Farbe zum FALLER 180514 Hintergrund noch erheblich schlimmer.

Buena calidad y colores homogéneos
Han mejorado mucho la calidad en mi opinión. Tenía uno antiguo complicado de empalmar unas partes con otras, y además, con diferencias de colores. En éste el empalme es bastante más sencillo, y además, el color es uniforme en todo el póster, por lo que he quedado muy satisfecho.

Old & "deteriorating"
I purchased two sides of this background and I've wrestled with this for sooo long! I purchased the other side of this background from a shop in the United States but had to get this one from "Trains of the World". The other side (Faller 180511) installed on my wall beautifully. It has bright, vibrant colors and will welcome all visitors to my "train room". I bought it from "Hobby Link" and it came in the original Faller packaging... The side I purchased from "Trains of the World" (Faller 180514) was shipped in a shipping tube / not the original Faller packaging and it was kind of dull and lifeless, the colors were not as bright, nor did the sky color compare to the side I purchased here in the States. I assumed that they were from different printing runs and was thankful I was able to obtain the other side, since I could'nt get one here. Then, I installed it on my wall... The paper quickly drank any moisture it could find and began to break apart on the wall as I attempted to squeegee the air bubbles. After a few weeks, I attempted to paint-in the damages to my background and failed, So then I took the remaining portion that I did'nt use on the wall in the first install, and glued it over the the damaged panel. I was going to put a large building there to cover the difference in the 2 elevations... But, whatever I've tried, it's always a little strange looking. Sooo...... I thought I'd try to contact "Trains of the World" and ask: Was this background in the original box before you sent it? And also: How old was your stock? After several emails back & forth, "Trains of the World" decided that I'm "S.O.L." since I waited so long to do something about the over-priced crap they sent me, Ha. Ha. Ha... Whatever you do, buy American! Even if, nowadays, it only means: Purchasing from a hobby shop in our country! I would also like to add; The photo provided for this listing (#180514), actually belongs to the background extension (#180511) for that 2 part series from Faller. This product #180514, should be shown & sold with the mirror image provided by the Faller website. Here is the URL for the correct image on the Faller website for the product I purchased from Amazom / "Trains of the World" [...]
