Quality of product was poorer than expected. Shuttle is styrofoam. Be carefull with it. Breaks easily.

The Shuttle is Made of Styrofoam
The listing is not clear to say that the shuttle is made of foam. I was under the impression that it was molded plastic because that is the only material listed. So it was a surprise to me when it arrived and it was foam. I thought that the box must have been tampered with and someone took the real shuttle. lol. But then I saw a YouTube video review and the shuttle is made of foam in that video too. It's pretty expensive for a rocket made partially of foam! We were looking for a rocket to have on display, not one to launch, even though I did understand that it COULD launch. I understand WHY it would be foam so that it can float up in the air while the other parts are falling down (more realistic). I just didn't understand that this particular shuttle WAS foam. If you understand what it is, then it is pretty great... except for the high price.

My child loved it, and it flew perfect. amazing for any kid, although there is a lot of other things that are needed to launch. :-)
