Great quality
My son is a little engineer. I bought an Erector set (the brand) and we discovered that the quality was so bad that the parts did not fit together. My son unintentially and easily bent some of the pieces in his hands while trying to fit the pieces together. Eitech on the other hand is a quality product. The material is sturdy and the pieces fit well together. It is a great building toy! I will be buying more of this brand.

Well made and reasonable price
I bought this for my almost 6-year-old son who had been asking for a toy crane. I found others online that could move with motors, but also had ridiculous prices,so I went with this one. I knew it might be a little complicated for him to build(it says it's for 8 yrs+), but I bought it for him knowing it would be something we would need to assemble together. Well, I ended up making it myself as the assembly was just too much for someone my son's age, but it also took me a long time (I think over an hour) to make this crane as the pieces are quite small making it hard to screw and tighten. It does come with everything you need to build the crane and a couple other toys (but you can only build one at a time since you would need the same pieces). The instructions are very easy to follow and the pieces do seem well-built and can last a long time. The metal pieces do not feel cheap at all. My son enjoys his crane and I doubt I will ever be taking it apart to build the other toys you can make with the pieces. Overall, I think it's worth it if you have a little guy or gal who likes this sort of building stuff. It can teach them about pulleys, and, if they are a little older and can build this themselves, it can be a nice indoor activity that can keep them busy and fill up their afternoon or weekend.

Wonderful purchase from Amazon!
We purchased two toys from Eitech. The one we have put together has 3 possible trucks in it. After putting the "metal...no plastic" plow truck together, we found one tire missing. I sent an e-mail to the company in Germany. I had the missing tire within a couple of weeks. Excellent service! The quality is the best!! Made in Germany is a plus as it is difficult to find "Made in the USA" these days. I recommend Eitech!!

Crane kit for grown boys too!
Bought this for my 67 yr old husband! He loves figuring things out and men like boys still love toys at Christmas! He had a great time building this crane!

It ain't Erector.
Tacky. Flimsy. NOT a Christmas success. Me and my bright ideas. I hope someone had more fun than my husband did. He remembers Christmas from his boyhood where the highlight was an Erector Set. This was a futile effort to recreate the moment.

Ups left while snowing!
It may be a great toy. We were getting snow , have a covered front porch but found the box on the ground the next day. Wet , snow covered and frozen to the ground. Now I have to spend time returning!

Buena calidad. Instrucciones correctas. Caja mala.
Los materiales son de buena calidad y las instrucciones aun no siendo excelentes, son suficientes para montar la grúa (no hemos probado a hacer el resto de modelos). La caja donde vienen separados los elementos es muy mala, cualquier movimiento hace que se salgan de sus compartimentos y se mezclen todos.
