Fun and colorful
Another winner from eeBoo! This brand has such nice toys, and this is no exception. The puzzle has pictures that are colorful and enticing. The illustrations are adorable! I love how the letter side has both the upper and lower case letters, as well as the phonetic instructions(?) so you can help recognize the different sounds that letters make. It's a great puzzle and a great way to work on letter sounds with your child. The material is a sturdy cardboard. You'd have to work pretty hard to rip or break the pieces. A great little puzzle! Highly recommend!

Error fixed by eeBoo, great puzzle
This is a great puzzle for little ones learning the alphabet and words. The pieces are large and sturdy for little fingers to use with ease. I like that the pieces only interlock with the matching images. Originally, the puzzle came with mixed up "U's" - Umbrella came with the long "u" and Unicorn came with the short "u". I emailed the company, and they replied they hadn't previously been made aware of the error, apologized, and said they would have new pieces made. A few weeks later, they mailed me correct pieces. So while the puzzle wasn't perfect at first, the company made up for it and I am highly satisfied. I imagine future versions of the puzzle will have the correct pieces included. If not, it should be as simple as emailing the company to get replacement pieces.

I love it SO MUCH!!!
Ok so honestly I underestimated this! I was thinking it was no big deal just the alphabet and pictures but really it is a GREAT tool for teaching the basics to kids about long and short letter sounds and stuff like that..for when you are barely trying to teach them to be little readers! We have fun with this and the examples in the photos are great examples to where kids will surely be able to sound it out in their heads or out loud and figure out what sound the corresponding letter makes. Now, as much as I wanted to give this 5 stars because it is a great tool for me when I’m teaching my 6 yr old this stuff for homeschool, I did find a mistake on the cards! :( The letter “U” letter was printed two times on two different cards with 2 different pics-one showing long sound, and the other showing “short sounding “u”. In those examples they labeled it short / long on the wrong words. For example they put umbrella as a long u sound which is incorrect and on unicorn they put short sound label on it which is wrong. That was the only mistake I found. For me right now, I am so thrilled with this and I am not gonna let one mistake have me not use it with my daughter when I know the right way to teach it BUT, would I give this as a gift? Absolutely not because it’s not 100% accurate. Would I recommend it? Definitely! But only to those who don’t mind a couple mistakes and know better than to believe the incorrect way.
