I had high hopes for this yo-yo holster, but 2 of the 3 features either didn't work or quickly broke. In my picture, you can see the spring for the carabiner popped out (after only 1 day of light usage) and I can't get it to go back in to place. I've seen this on other carabiners, but they usually have a flat spot the spring sits on to keep it in place. If the spring pops out, I can reset it. This carabiner doesn't have that flat spot so it no longer works. 2nd, and the main reason I bought the holster, is the built in string cutter. It looks like there is extra plastic around the blade that prohibits the string from touching the edge of the blade, which makes it very difficult to actually cut string with it. I'm sure I could cut some of this plastic away with an exacto knife, but since the carabiner is already broken I'm not going to waste my time. The only thing that works is the bearing removal tool. I would highly recommend avoiding this yo-yo holster.

Make sure you don’t try to tighten like you’re pulling a ripcord
Mine broke a little too soon than I anticipated. The retention cord got frayed methinks when I tightened it. So I just detached carabiner with the tools from the loop. The carabiner is somewhat subpar with the clasp not closing all the way.

Cool at first
After about a handful times using it for my yomega power brain x and my jds shutter the elastic has separated internally from the section that retains it to the carabiner it's still one piece at the moment but will fail in short order don't recommend go with a yoyo factory, magicyoyo or zeekio counter parts

Poor quality
I bought this for cub scouting. The stretch cord was not secured properly in the clip. As I have seen in many outher comments this is a very common problem.
