Useful gift!
This was a gift it in order to avoid too much bending, which worsens my arthritis and sciatica. I found it useful to pickup my bowls, but as the Jack is smaller, I have to kick it onto the smaller hole at the back. It sometimes toppled over while I was bowling, and I had to remember to take it with me when moving off. But I think that I will get used to it and it will save my back from excessive pain.

A great item to aid with mobility...
This item was purchased as a gift for an elderly relative with mobility problems and this has already made a significant difference... A typical game of bowls is now more enjoyable and less of a strain. This is a very nice, lightweight and compact product that is also of a very high quality... Thank-you!

I have bought three of these for self and friends. It's a very useful gadget for those with bad backs who can't bend down to pick up bowls from floor. The first one I bought was trouble free but second and third need constant adjustment as handle keeps dropping down and the other one keeps falling over. Needs tightening up with a screwdriver now and then. In the middle of a game of bowls. Fed up, as I recommended this to two friends who now never use them.

Welded at wrong angle and loose, kept falling over. Too short very poor item, in process of returning.
